Product Information

The product is a board game called “Monopoly Town”. It is a fast-dealing property trading game that comes in two levels. Level 1 is recommended for ages 4-5 and focuses on counting and matching. Level 2 is recommended for ages 6+ and focuses on reading and simple maths. The game involves moving around the board, buying and owning properties, collecting rent, and avoiding bankruptcy. The game ends when one player goes bankrupt, and the player with the most money wins.

The game includes a gameboard measuring 700 x 161 mm, a deck of green Level 2 Chance cards, playing pieces, sold signs, Title Deed cards, and a die. The game requires a minimum of two players and can be played by up to four or more players.

Product Usage Instructions

  5. If you buy a property, put one of your sold signs on that space and take its Title Deed card.
  6. If you own both properties of the same colour, collect two times the rent whenever another player lands on one of those properties.
  7. If you land on a Chance space, take the top card from the Chance deck and follow its instructions. Then put the card at the bottom of the deck.
  8. If you pass or land on the GO space, collect a2 from the Bank.
  9. If you land on the Time Out space, move your playing piece to that space and do not collect a2 for passing GO. Your turn is over.
  10. To get out of Time Out, wait for your next turn and then roll the die. If you roll a 6, move your playing piece to the space next to the Time Out space and continue playing as normal. If you do not roll a 6, stay in Time Out until your next turn.
  11. If you do not have enough money to buy a property, pay rent, pay for a Chance card, or get out of Time Out, you are bankrupt, and the game ends.
