Danfoss TS710 Single Channel Timer
What is the TS710 Timer
The TS710 is used to switch your gas boiler either directly or via a motorized valve. The TS710 has made setting your on/off times easier than ever before.
Setting time and Date
- Press and hold the OK button for 3 seconds, and the screen will change to show the current year.
- Adjust using or setting the correct year. Press OK to accept. Repeat step b to set month and time settings.
Timer Schedule Setup
- The Advanced Programmable Timer Function allows setting a timer-con-trolled program for automatically scheduled event changes.
- The example below for 5/2 day setup
- a. Press the button to access schedule setup.
- b. Set CH flashes, and press OK to confirm.
- c. Mo. Tu. We. Th. Fr. will flash on the display.
- d. You can select weekdays (Mo. Tu. We. Th. Fr.) or weekends (Sa. Su.) with buttons.
- e. Press the OK button to confirm the days selected (e.g. Mon-Fri) The chosen day and 1st ON time are displayed.
- f. Use or select ON hour, and press OK to confirm.
- g. Use or select ON minute, and press OK to confirm.
- h. Now the display changes to show the “OFF” time
- I. Use or select OFF hour, and press OK to confirm.
- j. Use or select OFF minute, and press OK to confirm.
- k. Repeat steps f. to j. above to set 2nd ON, 2nd OFF, 3rd ON & 3rd OFF events. Note: the number of events is changed in the user settings menu P2 (see table)
- l. After the last event time is set, if you were setting Mo. to Fr. the display will display Sa. Su.
- m. Repeat steps f. to k. to set Sa. Su times.
- n. After accepting Sa. Su. final event your TS710 will return to normal operation.
- If your TS710 is set for a 7-day operation, the option will be given to select each day separately.
- In 24-hour mode, the option will only be given to select Mo. to Su. together.
- To change this setting. See user settings P1 in the User Settings table.
- Where the TS710 is set for 3 periods, options will be given to select the period 3 times.
- In 1 Period mode, the option will be only given for one ON/OFF time. See User Settings P2.
Display and Navigation Details
Display & Navigations
- To access additional features press and hold the button for 3 seconds.
- To reset the timer, press and hold the PR and OK buttons for 10 seconds.
- The reset is complete after ConFtext appears on the display.
- (Note: This does not reset service due to timer or date and time settings.)
Holiday Mode
- Holiday Mode temporarily disables the timing functions when away or out for a period of time.
- a. Press the PR button for 3 seconds to enter Holiday mode. icon will be shown on the display.
- b. Press the PR button again to resume normal timings.
Channel Override
- You can override the timing between AUTO, AUTO+1HR, ON, and OFF.
- a. Press the PR button. CH will flash and current timer function, e.g. CH – AUTO.
- b. With channel flashing press buttons to change between AUTO, AUTO+1HR, ON, and OFF
- c. AUTO = The system will follow programmed schedule settings.
- d. ON = The system will remain constant ON until the user changes the setting.
- e. OFF = the system will remain constant OFF until the user changes the setting.
- f. a. AUTO+1HR = To boost the system for 1 hour press and hold the button for 3 seconds.
- f. b. With this selected, the system will remain ON for an extra hour.
- If it is selected while the program is OFF, the system will switch ON immediately for 1 hour and then resume programmed times(AUTO mode) again.
User Settings
- a. Press the button for 3 seconds to enter the parameter setting mode. set the parameter range via or and press OK.
- b. To exit parameter setup press, or after 20 seconds if no button is pressed unit will return to the main screen.
