Important Safety Information
Do not exceed the maximum weight limit of 4.4-26 lbs. (2.0-11 kg). The mount is compatible with monitors that have a VESA pattern between 75 x 75mm/3 x 3 (WxH) and 100 x 100mm/4 x 4 (WxH).

Product Usage Instructions
Weight Limit and VESA Pattern Check
Check the weight of your monitor (including accessories) to ensure it is between 4.4 – 26 lbs / 2.0 – 11 kg. Verify the VESA pattern of your monitor before installation. The mount is compatible with monitors that have a VESA pattern between 75 x 75mm/3 x 3 (WxH) and 100 x 100mm/4 x 4 (WxH). If your monitor’s VESA pattern is smaller than 75mm x 75mm or greater than 100mm x 100mm, this mount is not compatible with your monitor.
Installation of USB Cable (Optional)
Route the USB cables from Line Out (Female) at the base, to Line In (Male) at
your Desktop or Laptop Computer. Loosen pre-installed bolts and detach C Clamp
from Brace. Insert bolts through Brace and thread into Base. Tighten with
Allen Key. Ensure bolts are secured firmly. Alternatively, insert bolts
through Pressure Plate and thread into Base. Tighten with Allen Key. Ensure
bolts are secured firmly.
Note: This step is optional and not required for mount functionality.
Tension Adjustment
Adjust the tension only after attaching the monitor to the mount. Do not adjust tension without a monitor attached.

- The desk must be capable of supporting three times the weight of the total load (the mount, the monitor and all accessories weight). Don’t use the product on particle board.

Weight Restrictions If your monitor weighs more or less than the range above, this mount is NOT compatible. Monitor should not exceed maximum listed weight.
WARNING
DO NOT exceed the maximum weight indicated. This mounting system is intended
for use only within the weight range listed. Use with products heavier than
the maximum weight limit may result in failure of the mount, causing potential
damage and or injury. It is the responsibility of the installer to verify the
total weight of the monitors and any accessories attached. Do Not exceed the
weight limit listed.
Check the VESA Pattern of Your Monitor before You Begin the Installation
Measure Your Monitor’s VESA Pattern:
Minimum: 75 x 75mm/3 x 3″ (WxH)
Maximum: 1 00 x 1 00mm/ 4 x 4″ (WxH)
If your Monitor’s VESA Pattern is smaller than 75mm x 75mm or greater than 1
00mm x 1 00mm, this mount is NOT COMPATIBLE with your monitor. Please contact
our Technical Support at 877-419-7832
or support@ergoav.com to fmd a compatible mount.

TENSION ADJUSTMENT SHOULD BE DONE ONLY AFTER MONITOR INSTALLATION
Attention
DO NOT adjust tension without monitor attached.
- Verify the weight of your monitor (including accessories) is between 4.4 – 26 lbs / 2.0 – 11 kg.
- Monitor weight information can be found within its box or manual.
- Ensure monitor has been securely attached to the mount.
WARNING:
- Gas Spring Arm is under pressure and should be handled with care.
- Failure to follow the instructions may result in damage to the mount and/or personal injury.

*Step 1 INSTALLATION OF USB CABLE Optional. (Not required for mount

Step 1-1 Route the USB cables from Line Out (Female) at the base, to Line In
(Male) at your Desktop or Laptop Computer.
For Clamp Mounting(Optional)
Loosen pre-installed Bolts and detach C Clamp from Brace as shown below.
Option A:
Insert Bolts [C] through Brace [Y] and thread into Base [03]. Tighten with
Allen Key [E1 ].
Warning:
Ensure bolts are secured firmly.
For Grommet Mounting (Optional)
Option B: Insert Bolts [C] throughPressure Plate [H] and thread into Base
[03]. Tighten with Allen Key [E1].
Warning:
Ensure bolts are secured firmly.
Supplied Parts and Hardware for Step 2
Step 2 Assemble the Base
Option A: For Clamp Mounting
Insert bolts on C Clamp into desired holes on Brace and tighten with Allen Key
[E1] as shown below.
After Sliding Base Assembly onto desktop, rotate the knob until the C-Clamp is
secured firmly to the underside of desktop.
Option B:
For Grommet Mounting
If a hole
is needed for grommet installation, be sure to leave at least 2″ from the edge
of desktop and mark where the hole will be drilled. Use either a 7 /16″ or 7
/8″ drill bit for this step.

Parts and Hardware for Step 3
Step 3 Attach the Arm Assembly to the Base
Insert Arm [01] into the Base [03] and secure by tightening the set screw with
Small Allen Key [E2] as shown below.
WARNING: Do not over-tighten the set screw [M] in order not to affect the
rotation of the arm.
Slide Arm Extension [02] onto the Arm [01] and
secure by tightening the set screw with Small Allen Key [E2] as shown below.
Supplied Parts and Hardware for Step 4
Step 4 Attach the Monitor Plate to the Arm
Line up the holes from the Monitor Plate and Arm
by sliding the Monitor Plate [06] into place from the side of the Arm [01 ].
Secure the Monitor Plate to the Arm with Large Allen Key [E3] Using Bolt [G1]
and Washer [G2].

Step 5 Attach the Monitor to the Monitor Plate
Option A (For Flat Back Monitor)
5A-1 Turn top two bolts [A] CLOCKWISE until about 0.1-0.2″ (3-5mm) of space is
between monitor back and bolt head.
5A-2 Hang the monitor from the Monitor plate with the top two bolts .
Screw the remaining two bolts to the bottom holes. Tighten all bolts evenly.
Option B (For Curved Back Monitor)
5B-1 Slide the spacer [B2] over the bolt [B1] threads. Turn the top two bolts
CLOCKWISE until about 0.1-0.2″ (3-5mm) of space between the spacer and the
bolt head.
58-2 Hang
the monitor from the Monitor plate with the top two bolts.
Place the spacers [82] between the monitor plate and back of monitor. Screw
the remaining two bolts to the bottom holes. Tighten all bolts evenly.
Supplied Hardware for Step 6 3/16″ (5mm) Large Allen Key E3 (x1)
Step 6 Adjust the Gas Spring Tension
Ensure the arm is held in a horizontal position (parallel to desktop) during
adjustment. Failing to do so may result in difficulty adjusting or potential
damage to the mount.
Gas Spring arm is under pressure and should be handled with care. Failure to
follow the instructions may result in damage to the mount and/or personal
injury.
- IF the gas spring arm RISES with the monitor attached, hold the arm in a horizontal position while using the large Allen Key [E3] to turn the adjustment bolt CLOCKWISE, REDUCING the arm tension.
- IF the gas spring arm LOWERS with the monitor attached, hold the arm in a horizontal position while using the large Allen Key [E3] to turn the adjustment bolt COUNTER-clockwise ‘ INCREASING the arm tension.
Step 7 Rotation Restriction
To ensure proper stability, do not adjust monitor behind base. Monitors and arms should remain over the desktop. Failure to do so could result in property damage or injury.

****3/16″ (5mm) Large Allen Key E3 (x1)
Step 8 Adjust the Monitor to Proper Tilt Angle
- Slightly loosen the Bolt with Large Allen Key [E3]
- Tilt monitor to your desired position.
- Re-tighten the Bolt with Large Allen Key [E3] to hold monitor in desired position.
Step 9 Route the Cables along the Arm
