SoundCap Eye™ is created by unifying three of Yamaha‘s unique technologies: Face Focus Beamforming, Self-Silence and Self-Volume Balancer.
SoundCap Eye™ is a technology that utilizes the camera and audio pickup to distinguish voices vs. ambient noise. By narrowing in on only voices within the camera frame, the technology can better determine participation location and block out unwanted background noise in potentially noisy environments like open workspaces.
FACE FOCUS BEAMFORMING
Face Focus Beamforming picks up your conversations while reducing the
distracting noise around you. The CS-800 & CS-500 have built-in 4K camera
which tracks the faces of participants analyzed by AI.}
SELF-SILENCE
The CS-800 & CS-500 include a self-silence function that automatically mutes the microphone when the conference participant is not speaking.
SELF-VOLUME-BALANCER
With the self-volume balancer function, the CS-800 & CS-500 automatically
adjust the volume according to the ambient noise to keep an appropriate
speaker volume level.
Smart Framing for Focused Meetings
The facial-focus beamforming function recognizes people in the room who are
speaking and automatically frames the video signal for remote participants.
Smooth transitions are made for participants who may shift or move about the
room via the CS-500/CS-800’s seamless action capture.
Easy-Launch for Quick and Smart Collaboration
Automatic display launch with easy-to-follow instructions allow for a quick jump into collaboration sessions. With just one USB connection to your laptop, users can be up and running in no time.

Multi-function remote allows easy control and configuration – on top there is
the large mute button, allowing simple muting of your conferencing
application. Hidden underneath are some more advanced controls, allowing
interaction with the On-Screen Display, and fine control of the camera and
audio
Three-Dimensional Beamforming via Hexa-Microphone Brings MultiDimensional Conversations
The microphone is arranged in a hexagonal array that creates a 3-dimensional
microphone beam that more accurately captures words spoken during
conversations to reproduce a clearer and more precise sound compared to normal
video sound bars.
The 90dB Full range speaker of the CS-800 is optimized for voice, so that you can hear the remote participants clearly.
