Haswill Electronics STC-8080H Thermostat

The STC-8080H is a defrosting thermostat with one sensor and two output relays for controlling refrigeration and defrosting units. It features an editable delay time for the over-temp alarm function.

This unit does not output AC electricity, so you must wire all live and null wires to each port using the jumper wire provided.

product Function Menu

The function menu has eight codes:

  • F1: Temperature for Refrigeration Starts
  • F2: Temperature for Refrigeration Stops
  • F3: Temperature Calibration
  • F4: Compressor Delay Time Over-temperature to Trigger Alarm (more F5 than F1)
  • F5: Alarm Delay Time
  • F6: Defrosting Cycle / Interval Time
  • F7: Defrosting Lasting Time
  • F8: Configuration

To configure the aim temperature range, follow these steps:

  1. Enter the configuration menu by pressing F8.
  2. Press the up or down keys to select the function you want to update.
  3. Press the key to check the existing value.
  4. Hold the key and press the up or down key to change the value.
  5. Release all keys once it reaches your aim value.
  6. Repeat steps 2-4 to adjust other parameters.
  7. After configuring all values, press the key to save data and return to normal monitor status.

Note that the modified value will be saved automatically and return to normal status if there is no operation within 30 seconds.

product Run the Forced Refrigeration

To start the forced-defrosting mode, hold the key for 3 seconds. Repeat to stop defrosting. Configuration

The aimed temperature range was defined from “F1” to f2”; you need to set both.

  • ≥ F1, refrigeration starts.
  • ≤ F2, refrigeration ends.
  • Step1 Hold the key for 3s, and the code F1 will appear.
  • Step2 Press the keys to get the aim function you want to update;
  • Step3 Press the  key to check the existing value; Hold the  key meanwhile press the key to change the value;
  • Step4 Release all keys once it reaches your aim value; Repeat operation from Step 2 / 3 / 4 to adjust other parameters;
  • Step5 After configuring all values, press the key to save data and back to normal monitor status. Attention: the modified value will be saved automatically and back to normal status if without operation in 30 seconds.

Run the Forced Refrigeration

Hold the key for 3s to start the forced-defrosting mode; do it again to stop defrosting.

More Tips:
This unit controls the defrosting only by the time, but not by the evaporator temperature like STC-9100.
