Introduction

Thank you for purchasing this quality product. To minimize the risk of injury we urge that our clients take some basic safety precautions when using this device. Please read the operation instructions carefully and make sure you have understood its content.
Keep these operation instructions safe.

Safety notes

  • Follow the instructions precisely. Only to be used for foot and fingernails, its intended purpose.
  • Keep out of the reach of children.
  • In case irritations or complaints occur, stop the application immediately.
  • Ensure not to smoothen the nails too much. Do not use this device on thin, weak, damaged, or infected nails. Keep the device away from water.
  • Never cover the device.
  • Never leave the device running when unsupervised.
  • The device is only disconnected from the electricity supply when the mains adapter has been unplugged from the socket.
  • Before connecting the device to the electricity supply, ensure that the voltage indicated on the type label matches the voltage of the main supply.
  • Only use the device according to the purpose described in this operating manual.
  • The device is not designed to be used for commercial purposes.
  • Do not use spare parts which are not recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Avoid contact with pointy or sharp objects. When using the device wrongfully, the warranty is voided.
  • This device can be used by people, including children from the age of 8, with limited physical, sensory, or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the device and understand the potential resulting dangers.
  • Children need to be supervised when using the device, to ensure that they do not play with the device.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance are not allowed to be carried out by children when they are unsupervised.

Installation and electrical connection

  • Connect the portable grinding head/handpiece to the “DC OUT” socket of the main panel.
  • Select a proper drill bit according to the requirements and attach it to the handpiece.
  • Turn the speed control knob to the left (towards the minimum).
  • Connect to the power supply.

Operation

  • Switch the power switch (the left switch on the panel) to “I.” The indicator will be illuminated, on and the machine is ready for operation.
  • Push the switch (the right switch on the panel) to “+” or “–.” “+” is for a clockwise direction and “–” is for a counter-clockwise direction.
  • Press the red switch on the handpiece to turn it on.
  • Adjust the speed control knob to control the rotation speed.
  • Press the switch to “O” to switch off the handpiece.
  • Press the power switch to “O” to turn off the machine.

Operation instructions

  • Do not change the turning directions too frequently. This will avoid damage to the handpiece.
  • Turn the speed control counterclockwise to decelerate the grinding head to the minimum before turning off and switch the main power source to “0.”
  • After operation put the grinding head onto the top of the main panel.
  • While the grinding head is in operation, never pull out the 5-pin plug of the portable grinding head.
  • For a long idle time please disconnect the power source.
  • Any unauthorized disassembling of the product is prohibited. In case of any breakdown please contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician.
  • If the supply cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified technician to avoid a hazard.
