SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the appliance, cord or plug in water or spray liquid on them.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children.
- Ensure the voltage indicated on the rating label of the appliance corresponds to your local voltage. If this is not the case, do not use the appliance and return it to the retailer immediately.
- This appliance is intended for household use only. It is not intended for commercial or industrial use. The appliance has been designed exclusively for indoor use to circulate air and produce wind flow. Only use the appliance in a properly ventilated room.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not connect the fan to the electrical outlet until it is fully assembled.
- Turn off and unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet when it is not in use, before moving from one location to another, before assembling or disassembling any parts, and before cleaning.
- Do not touch moving parts. Never insert fingers, pencils, or any other objects though the guards or motor housing to avoid injury, electric shock, or damage to the appliance.
- Always place and use the appliance on a firm, dry and stable surface to prevent it from tipping over.
- WARNING: Do not hang or mount the fan on a wall or ceiling. Do not use near a window.
- To avoid the risk of overheating or fire, do not cover the air inlets and outlets or operate near curtains or other objects that may block the fan.
- Keep a minimum clearance distance on all sides of at least 50 cm.
- Do not use the appliance in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
- Protect the appliance from direct sunlight, rain or moisture.
- WARNING: To avoid the risk of electric shock or fire, do not place the appliance near water sources (bathtubs, swimming pools, washbasins, etc.) or heat sources (radiators, heaters, stoves, etc.).
- Do not use the appliance in the bathroom.
- Turn off all controls before plugging or unplugging the appliance.
- Never use the plug as a switch to start or stop the appliance. Use the power button to turn the appliance on or off.
- Arrange the cord away from traffic areas. Ensure the cord is not in a position where it can be pulled by children, or tripped over.
- Only use the original attachments supplied or recommended by the manufacturer.
- This appliance has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to carry out repairs yourself. Do not carry out any maintenance other than that shown in the manual.
- Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the unit malfunctions, or has been dropped, or damaged in any manner. Contact Customer Service for examination or repair.
- WARNING: Keep the remote control out of the reach of young children. The remote control contains a button type battery (or battery). If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person.
- The marking of this device complies with European Directive 2012/19/EU relating to “used electrical and electronic equipment”. This marking means that this equipment, at the end of its useful life, cannot be disposed of with other household waste. The user is required to deliver it to operators who collect used electrical and electronic equipment. Collection operators, including local collection points, shops and local authorities, create an appropriate system for collecting equipment. Appropriate collection of used electrical and electronic equipment helps avoid harmful impacts on human health and the environment, resulting from the presence of hazardous components, as well as from improper storage and treatment of this equipment.

REMOTE CONTROL
Before first use, pull out the insulating strip from the battery compartment of the remote control. The remote control comes with batteries (2 x AAA batteries, included).
- To install new batteries, press and slide open the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow (A).
- Install the new batteries (2 x AAA batteries) following the +/- polarities indicated in the battery compartment (B).
- Firmly close the battery compartment (C).
OPERATION
To operate the bladeless fan, use the remote control or the touch buttons on the control panel of the fan. The LED indicator lights illuminated on the control panel will indicate the current fan settings.

Place the fan on a solid surface that is dry, level, and stable. Do not place the unit near a window where it can be exposed to rain or moisture.

Plug the power cord firmly into the mains outlet. The fan will beep once and enter Standby Mode.

Press the On/Off button (7, 10b) to start or stop the fan.

Press the Speed button (6, 10d) to select the desired wind speed: Low/ Medium/ High.

Press the Light button (9, 10a) to turn the LED light (2) on or off.

Press the Timer button (8, 10e) to set the fan to automatically turn off when the timer ends.
The timer can be set from 1 to 10 hours. Each press increases the timer by 1 hour. -
Press the Swing button (5, 10c) to start or stop the oscillation function. When the function is activated, the fan will rotate from left to right on its base to circulate air.
WARNING: Always turn off and disconnect the appliance from the mains socket when it is not in use or unattended to disconnect it completely from the power supply
CLEANING AND CARE
WARNING
- Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet.
- Never immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or any liquid.
Never rinse or spray the appliance with any liquid.
IMPORTANT: Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads to clean the appliance. Make sure no water enters the control panel or fan motor.

Clean the appliance with a duster, or a soft cloth moistened with water.

Do not plug the appliance until it is completely dry.

Unplug the appliance if it will not be used for a prolonged period of time (e.g. winter, vacation).
Store the appliance in its original box or use a cover to protect it from dust. -
Store in a cool, dry place.
GUARANTEES
Guarantees and limitations of liability
Products are guaranteed for a period of 36 months from the date of purchase,
or from the date of delivery to the customer’s home. Depending on the country,
this guarantee consists of 24 to 36 months of validity for the legal
compliance guarantee.
For countries that only implement a 24-month legal compliance guarantee, a
12-month commercial guarantee is applied at the end of the first guarantee,
and supplements it.

Please consult your retailer for information and/or to refer to their GTCs
(General Terms and Conditions of Sale).
For the commercial guarantee
Please go to the reception desk at your place of purchase with your proof of
purchase (e.g. sales receipt), the product and the accessories it came with,
and its original packaging, for all countries other than France. It is
important to have the date of purchase, the model and the serial number or
IMEI number to hand (this information is usually indicated on the product,
packaging, or on your proof of purchase). You’ll need to bring back the
product with the accessories needed for its correct functioning (power supply,
adapter, etc.). If your claim is covered by the guarantee, the after-sales
service may, within the limits of local law, either:
- Repair or replace faulty parts.
- Exchange the returned product with a product that has, at the least, the same features and that offers equivalent performances.
- Refund the product at the price stated on the proof of purchase.
Repaired or replaced products may include new and/or reconditioned hardware and components.
Commercial guarantee exclusions
- Damages or problems caused by improper use, accident, tampering/modification or an unsuitable current or voltage connection.
- Use or storage conditions which are detrimental to the good conservation of the appliance (oxidation, corrosion), use of energy, use or installation non-compliant with the manufacturer’s instructions, or negligence or use of peripherals, software or consumables which are unsuitable.
- Professional or collective, industrial or commercial use of the product.
- Products that have been modified, or which have damaged, altered, erased or oxidised guarantee seals or serial numbers.
- Replaceable batteries and accessories are guaranteed for 6 months.
- Battery failure, caused by overcharging or by failure to follow the safety instructions set out in the manual.
- Cosmetic damage, including scratches, bumps or vandalism.
- Damage caused by any servicing operations carried out by non-authorised persons.
- Faults caused by normal wear and tear or the normal ageing of the product: seals, filters, accessories, vacuum cleaner brush and hose, lamps, overhead projector lamps, washing machine paddles, etc.
- Software updates as a consequence of changes to network settings.
- Damage caused by elements external to the appliance (foreign bodies, insects, etc.).
- The contents of the devices – freezer, washing machine, etc. (food, clothing, etc.)
- Product failure caused by the use of third-party software to modify, change, adapt or alter the product as is.
- Product failure resulting from its use without the accessories supplied with the product or approved by the Manufacturer.
- Parts for normal wear and tear or damage from use: tyre, inner tube, brake, etc.
The customer is responsible for regularly backing up the data contained on
their hard disk or in the internal memory of their device, and this before any
claim is submitted.
Auchan cannot be held liable for the loss or destruction of stored data, nor
may it be held liable for damage caused to software resulting from, in
particular, a restoration or a breakdown.
Similarly, Auchan is not required to check that SIM/SD cards have been removed
from returned products.
Under no circumstances shall the provisions set out above reduce or eliminate:
the legal guarantee referred to above, and the manufacturer’s commercial
guarantee, if applicable (see guarantee form).
