FAQs
What is the difference between the “FULL” and “SMART” modes ?****
The “FULL” mode is for a full body massage, while the “SMART” mode is for a specific part of the body.
How long can I use it?****
You can use it for 30 minutes each time.
How often can I use the shiatsu massager?****
You can use your shiatsu foot massager as often as you want, but we don’t recommend having more than three sessions a day.
What are the benefits of neck and back massagers?****
Many types of neck massagers can be used to alleviate back, shoulder, and neck pain at home. Neck massagers can provide relief from neck pain caused by strains, sprains, and conditions such as osteoarthritis. In addition, they can be used to reduce the discomfort caused by tension headaches.
Can you use a shiatsu massager every day ?****
We recommend you use it no more than 3 to 4 times a week for maximum massage benefits. An easy way to think of it is to set yourself on a schedule to use it every other day while at home.
Are neck massagers healthy?****
As long as you follow manufacturer instructions, neck massagers are a safe, effective way to reduce neck pain. With proper use, they can reduce stress, relieve pain, and improve circulation to tight or overused areas.
What is the function of a neck and shoulder massager?****
Neck and shoulder massagers are devices that people can use to relieve muscle pain and stiffness. They are available from online providers, and some have a portable design and an adjustable massage intensity.
What is the duration of a shiatsu massage?****
The typical Shiatsu session lasts for about 60–90 minutes.
When should you not do a shiatsu massage?****
Shiatsu should be avoided if you have high blood pressure, heart rhythm trouble or diabetes, and these are not controlled. Areas of your body with local open wounds, recent scars, inflammation, varicose veins etc. will be avoided during the treatment and are local contraindications.
How often should I use a neck massager?****
One-hour sessions two or three times a week appear to be best, said study researcher Karen Sherman, senior scientific investigator at Group Health Research Institute in Seattle.
