muse MT-110 B Turntable Micro System
Read the instructions carefully before operating the unit.
Product Information
The MT-110 is a micro system CD player with a turntable that also supports USB, Bluetooth, and FM radio. It has a range of controls including a volume control, speed selector, tone arm, and cartridge with stylus. The device comes with an AC adaptor that can be used with AC main supplies of 100-240V and has various input/output jacks for external devices.
Product Usage Instructions
- Read the instructions carefully before operating the unit.
- Power on the device using the power switch located at the back of the device.
- Select the function you want to use by pressing the function button.
- For USB playback, connect the USB device to the USB port and use the / buttons to navigate through the files. Press the play/pause button to start or pause playback.
- To connect an auxiliary source, use the AUX IN jack located at the back of the device.
- To use Bluetooth, pair your device by pressing and holding the Bluetooth button until it starts flashing. Then, search for available devices on your phone or other Bluetooth-enabled device and select “MT-110” to connect.
- To record from a disc to USB, connect the USB device to the USB port and press the record button. Use the / buttons to select ONE (to record a single song) or ALL (to record the entire CD) and press play to start recording.
- For FM radio, use the tuning knob to select your desired station. Use the / buttons to select preset stations.
- For turntable usage, place your vinyl record on the platter and select the appropriate speed using the speed selector. Move the tone arm over the record and press the lift lever to start playback. The device will automatically stop when the record finishes playing or when the auto-stop switch is turned on.

POWER SUPPLY
Using the AC adaptor
- AC adaptor: Input 100-240V 50/60Hz 0.5A
- Output 12.0V , 1.0A
The supplied AC adaptor is suitable for use on AC main supplies of 100-240V and should only be connected to a mains supply within these parameters. In a concern of saving energy, when playback has reached to the end or listening volume is set at a very low level and no control is operated on the device for a period of 10 minutes, the unit will automatically switch to Standby mode.
Cautions
- The AC adaptor included with this unit is for its use only. Do not use it with other equipment.
- Turn off the unit before unplugging the AC adaptor from the unit so as to avoid the unit being damaged.
- When the unit is not going to be used for long time, disconnect the AC adaptor from the AC outlet.
- Be sure to use it near the wall outlet and easily accessible. If a malfunction occurs, disconnect the plug from the wall outlet at once.
- AC adaptor is used as the disconnect device. It shall remain readily operable and should not be obstructed during intended use. To be completely disconnected the apparatus from supply mains, the AC adaptor of the apparatus shall be disconnected from the mains socket outlet completely.
- Never use an AC adaptor that is damaged, route power lead in a safe manner and make sure it is not subjected to trapping or pinching. If the power lead is damaged refer to a qualified service agent.
TURNING ON/OFF THE UNIT
- To slide the POWER ON/OFF switch to “ON” position on back of unit to go to the standby mode, the STANDBY indicator turns RED, then press STANDBY button to turn the unit ON.
- To power off the unit, press the STANDBY button, then slide the POWER ON/OFF switch to “OFF” position on back of unit.
SELECTING FUNCTION
- The function (FM/ CD/ USB/ PHONO/ AUX/ BLUETOOTH) is selected by pressing FUNCTION button repeatedly.
LISTENING TO THE RADIO
- When the unit is on, press FUNCTION button to select the FM mode until FM indicator appears on display
- Fast rotate TUNING knob clockwise or anti-clockwise. The radio will automatically search a station upward or downward and stop at a strong station.
- Adjust the volume to the desired level.
Automatic storage
Press and hold for few seconds and the unit will automatically save the first 20 FM stations. When you store on a channel already been preset, the previous station will automatically be cleared and replaced by the new station.
Listen to the station presets
- Press / and repeat the operation as many times as necessary to select your station.
- Adjust the volume to the desired level.
LISTENING TO THE CD DISC/MP3
- When the unit is on, press FUNCTION button to select the CD mode until CD indicator appears on display.
- Press to open the disc tray. Display shows “OPEN”, Insert a disc with label side facing up. Press again to close the disc tray. The display will show “–” for few seconds.
- The total number of track will appear on display and playback starts automatically.
- Press to skip forward to the next track or press repeatedly to skip several tracks. Press return to the beginning of the track, or press repeatedly to skip backward several tracks. Press and hold or to search quickly within a track.
- Press to suspend momentarily the track playback. Press again to resume playback.
- Press to stop the playback.
USB PLAYBACK
- Connect a USB device containing MP3 files or MP3 player to the USB port.
- When the unit is on, press FUNCTION button to select the USB mode until USB indicator appears on display.
- Adjust the volume to the desired level.
- Press to skip forward to the next track or press repeatedly to skip several tracks.Press return to the beginning of the track, or press repeatedly to skip backwards several tracks. Press and hold or to search quickly within a track.
- Press to suspend momentarily the track playback. Press again to resume playback.
- Press to stop the USB playback.
Removing the USB device
- Please be sure to stop playback and turn the unit OFF before removing the USB device to avoid damaging the USB and system.
Note
- There are many USB devices in the market. We cannot guarantee to support all different models. Please try another USB device if yours is not supported.
- The unit might not support all the multimedia files stored in USB because it includes some special playback procedure which might not be compat¬ible with the procedure of this unit.
LISTENING TO THE PHONO
- When the unit is on, press FUNCTION button to select the phono mode until PHONO indicator appears on display.
- Remove the stylus cover from the stylus and release the Tone arm rest.
- Place a record on the turntable platter and select the desired speed (33/45/78) according to the record.
- NOTE: If you are playing 45RPM singles, place the 45 RPM adapter on the center spindle.
- Push up the lift lever to raise the tone arm and gently move the tone arm to the desired position onto the record, Push down the lift lever, move the tone arm slowly onto the record to start playing the record.
- Adjust the volume control to your desired level.
- If the AUTO STOP ON/OFF Switch is turned ON, the record will stop automatically when playback ends. If Auto Stop switch is turned OFF, record will NOT stop automatically when playback ends.
Remark
Certain types of records may have an auto-stop area outside the preset limit, so the turntable may stop before the last track finishes. If this occurs, set the AUTO-STOP switch to the “OFF” position. This allows the record to play to the end, but please note that it will not stop automatically. You must manually raise the tone arm and place it back in the rest and then turn off the power to prevent the turntable from spinning.
IMPORTANT: Do not turn or stop the Turntable platter manually. Moving or jarring the Turntable platter without securing the Tone Arm Clamp could cause damage to the Tone Arm or Stylus.
CONNECTING AUXILIARY SOURCE
- Connect your auxiliary source (e. g. mp3 player) to the AUX IN jack (3.5mm) on back of unit. (cable not included).
- Press FUNCTION button repeatedly to select AUX mode until the “ ” indicator appear on display.
- Start playback from your auxiliary source.
- Adjust the volume to desired level.
- To stop playback, disconnect your auxiliary source from the AUX IN jack.

Pairing a Bluetooth Device
- When the unit is ON, press FUNCTON button repeatedly to select Bluetooth mode. The display will show “ ” for a few seconds. The Bluetooth indicator will start to blink rapidly
- On the Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and select “MT-110B” from the Device List. (Refer to the user manual of the device to be connected for detailed operations.) You will hear an indication voice when pairing is successful.
Tip: If you want to connect your Bluetooth speaker to another Bluetooth audio device, you need to disconnect current device first and follow the steps above to make a new connection.
- On some devices such as computers, once paired you must select the unit from the Bluetooth menu and choose “Use as Audio Device (stereo)” or similar.
- Pairing remains intact when the unit and/or your Bluetooth device is taken out of communication range. An active connection will be re-established when your Bluetooth device returns within range.
- When the unit is turned on again, it will automatically try to reconnect with the most recently paired Bluetooth device.
Noted: When the unit is switched to Bluetooth mode from other function mode, the volume level may become very low, in this case, turn off the unit and then turn on again to resume normal.
Using a Bluetooth Device
- With a unit paired (see previous section), operate your Bluetooth device and its sound will be heard through the MT-110B’s speakers.
- Press the button to pause playback. Press again to resume playback.
- Select desired track with / .
- Adjust the volume using the Volume buttons. You can also adjust the volume on the device to which you are paired.

- Follow procedures 1 to 6 in LISTENING TO THE PHONO section. Press the REC button, the REC indicator lights up and ”USB” icon flashes, then recording will start.
- Press STOP to stop encoding, REC indicator lights off.
- To listen the recording, repeatedly press FUNCTION button to select the USB mode until USB indicator appear on display, and press / to find the last file in the USB, then the playback starts automatically.
RECORDING THE RADIO
- Connect the USB device to the USB port (Make sure the USB device have enough space to save the encoding).
- Follow procedures 1 to 3 in LISTENING TO THE RADIO section. Press the REC button, the REC indicator lights up and ”USB” icon flashes, then recording will start.
- Press STOP to stop encoding, REC indicator lights off.
- To listen the recording, repeatedly press FUNCTION button to select the USB mode until USB indicator appear on display, and press / to find the last file in the USB, then the playback starts automatically.
RECORDING THE AUX IN
- Connect the USB device to the USB port (Make sure the USB device have enough space to save the encoding).
- Follow procedures 1 to 5 in CONNECTING AUXILIARY SOURCE section. Press the REC button, the REC indicator lights up and ”USB” icon flashes, then recording will start.
- Press STOP to stop encoding, REC indicator lights off.
- To listen the recording, repeatedly press FUNCTION button to select the USB mode until USB indicator appear on display, and press / to find the last file in the USB, then the playback starts automatically.
RECORDING THE BLUETOOTH
- Connect the USB device to the USB port (Make sure the USB device have enough space to save the encoding)
- Follow procedures 1 to 4 in Using a Bluetooth Device section. Press the REC button, the REC indicator lights up and ”USB” icon flashes, then recording will start.
- Press STOP to stop encoding, REC indicator lights off.
- To listen the recording, repeatedly press FUNCTION button to select the USB mode until USB indicator appear on display, and press / to find the last file in the USB, then the playback starts automatically.
RECORDING THE CD
- Connect the USB device to the USB port (Make sure the USB device have enough space to save the encoding).
- Follow procedures 1 to 6 in LISTENINGTOTHECD DISC/MP3 section. Press the REC button, the REC icon lights up and ”ONE” icon appears in display.
- Press / to choose ONE (single CD song recording) or ALL(whole CD recording).
- Single CD song recording:
- Choose ”ONE” icon appears on display, press the REC button to confirm the recording.
- The display will appear the “001”, then press / to select the song to be recorded.
- Press the REC button to confirm the selection and the recording starts, the ”USB” icon flashes.
- Press STOP to stop encoding or will stop automatically when the song finish.
- Whole CD recording:
- Choose ”ALL” icon appears on display, press the REC button to confirm the recording.
- Then press the REC button again to start the recording, the ”USB” icon flashes.
- Press STOP to stop encoding or will stop automatically when the CD song finish.
- To listen the recording, repeatedly press FUNCTION button to select the USB mode until USB indicator appear on display, and press / to find the last file in the USB, then the playback starts automatically.
USING HEADPHONES / EARPHONES (NOT INCLUDED)
- Maximum output voltage: ≤ 150Mv
HEADPHONE VOLUME WARNING
Connect earphones with the volume set low and increase it if required. Prolonged listening through some earphones at high volume settings can result in hearing damage. When headphones/earphones are connected, no sound will be emitted from the unit’s speaker.
Caution: Avoid listening to sound at levels which may be harmful to your ears.
To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.
USING THE RCA LINE OUT JACK
Connect one end of audio cable (cable not included) to the LINE OUT jack on the rear of unit and other end of cable connect to the RCA IN jack or AUX in jack of your other audio drive equipment.
- Turn on your audio drive equipment.
- Select one of your favorite mode (PHONO, USB, AUX IN) and start your mode playback.
HOW TO REPLACE THE TURNTABLE STYLUS (NEEDLE)
Removing the Stylus(needle) from the Cartridge
- Raise the Tone Arm.
- To remove the old stylus needle, Place a screwdriver at the tip of the stylus and push downward as shown in direction “A”.
- Remove the stylus by pulling the stylus forward and pushing downward.
Installing the Stylus
- Hold the tip of the stylus and insert the stylus by pressing as shown in direction “B”.
- Push the stylus upward as in direction “C” until the stylus locks into the tip position.
TIPS FOR BETTER TURNTABLE PERFORMANCE
- When opening or closing the turntable cover, handle it gently, gripping it either at the centre or at each side.
- Do not touch the needle tip with your fingers; avoid bumping the needle against the turntable platter or record edge.
- Frequently clean the needle tip-use a soft brush in a “back-to-front” motion only.
- If you must use a needle cleaning fluid, use very sparingly.
- Gently wipe the dust cover and turntable housing with a soft cloth. Use only a small amount of mild detergent to clean the turntable and dust cover.
- Never apply harsh chemicals or solvents to any part of the turntable system.

MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
Be sure to turn the unit off and disconnect the AC adaptor before maintaining the unit.
- Use a soft, dry, clean cloth. Regularly dust the vents at the back or sides.
- Using solvents, abrasive or alcohol-based products risks damaging the appliance.
- If an object or liquid enters inside the appliance, unplug it immediately and have it checked by an authorized engineer.
Note on disc
- Do not use irregular shape CDs (example: heart-shaped, octagonal ones). It may result in malfunctions.
- Do not place more than one disc in the disc compartment.
- Do not try to open the disc compartment during playing.
- If there is a scratch, dirt or fingerprints on the disc, it may cause tracking error. Before playing, clean the disc with a cleaning cloth. Wipe the disc from the center out. Don’t store discs in places with high temperatures or high humidity, they can become warped. After playing, store the disc in its case.
Important Note
- Before transporting the unit, remove the disc from the disc compartment.
