This product contains light source which has energy efficiency class E.

The Universal Luminaire Base LED 300 mm IP44 CNH788 is a lighting fixture that operates on 230V and is equipped with LED lights. It has a protection class 1 symbol, which indicates that it should be connected to the network side with the yellow/green protective earth to the protective earth terminal. The light source is replaceable by a professional, but the control gear is non- replaceable. It has an IP44 rating, making it suitable for use in damp environments.

General Safety Information

Electrical installations should only be carried out by qualified electricians. Before proceeding with installation, the mains connecting cable must be de- energized (fuse turned off). Do not make any changes to the lamp or its connecting cable. Do not operate the lamp if it or its connecting cable show visible signs of damage. Disposal

Do not dispose of the waste electric appliances together with household waste. In conformity with the directive 2012/19/EN on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its implementation in the national laws, waste electrical and electronic equipment should be collected separately and transferred for environmentally safe reuse. Recycling as an alternative to the requirement of return: the owner of the electrical and electronic equipment parting with the ownership is obliged to return it or to co-operate in the appropriate utilization of the equipment. For this purpose, the waste appliance may also be brought to a take-back station for disposal in accordance with the national recycling requirements and the legal acts concerning waste handling.This does not apply to the accessory parts and auxiliaries of the waste appliances, except for the electric components.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure that the mains connecting cable is de-energized (fuse turned off) before proceeding with installation.
  2. Connect the luminaire to the network side with the yellow/green protective earth to the protective earth terminal.
  3. Insert the replaceable LED light source (by a professional) or turn the luminaire on if the LED light source is already installed.
  4. Use a 10mm cable gland to connect the luminaire to the mains supply. The cable should have a cross-sectional area of 1-1.5mm2.
  5. Turn the luminaire off before removing the light source.
