The Infantino StayCool™ 4-in-1 convertible carrier is designed to carry babies in four different positions – forward-facing infant seat, forward-facing expanded seat, back carry, and facing-in seat. It comes with a head support button for added comfort and support for infants. The carrier is suitable for babies weighing between 8 lbs – 40 lbs (3.6 kg – 18.1 kg) and complies with the safety requirements of ASTM F2236.
Product Usage
- Before assembling and using the carrier, read all instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
- Secure the loop to the head support button for infants weighing between 8-15 lbs (3.6 kg – 6.8 kg) and slide and lock the carrier in place.
- For very small babies, use the blue embroidery point position.
- For infants weighing between 15-40 lbs (6.8 kg – 18.1 kg), secure the loop to the head support button, slide, and lock the carrier in place.
- To switch to the forward-facing expanded seat position, fold and snap the carrier according to the instructions.
- To switch to the back carry position, lift and pull the carrier according to the instructions.
- Review the instructions before attempting new carrying positions.

WARNING –Failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions can result in death or serious injury. Read all instructions before assembling and using your carrier. Keep instructions and review them before attempting new carrying positions.
WARNING : FALL AND SUFFOCATION HAZARD FALL HAZARD – Infants can fall through a wide leg opening or out of their carrier.

Adjust leg openings to fit the baby’s legs snugly.

Before each use, make sure all fasteners are secure.

Take special care when leaning or walking.

Never bend at the waist; bend at the knees.

Only use this carrier for babies between 8 lbs (3.6 kgs) and 40 lbs (18.1 kgs)
SUFFOCATION HAZARD – Infants under 4 months can suffocate in this product if their face is pressed tight against their body. -
Do not strap the infant too tight against your body.

Allow room for head movement.

Keep the infant’s face free from obstructions at all times.
WARNING
- When using the soft carrier, monitor your child.
- For low birthweight babies and children with medical conditions, a strong recommendation is given to seek advice from a health professional before using the product.
- Premature infants, infants with respiratory problems, and infants under 4 months are at the greatest risk of suffocation.
- Babies can suffocate in this product if their face is pressed tightly against their body.
- Follow instructions for use. When fastening the carrier, keep one hand on the baby at all times.
- Baby must face toward you until he/she can hold their head upright (before being worn in the Facing-Out Position) to avoid possible neck or back injury.
- Baby must be able to sit up on his or her own before being worn in the Back Carry position to avoid possible back or neck injury.
- Never use the wide seat position when carrying the baby in the Facing-Out position.
- Check on the baby often and feel the baby’s legs to ensure proper circulation. Ensure that the baby is periodically repositioned.
- A Baby’s face should always be visible and free from obstructions.
- Be aware of your surroundings. Avoid any potential hazards or obstructions when putting the baby in the carrier, when in use, and when removing baby from the carrier. Users should have an awareness of hazards in the domestic environment e.g. heat sources, spilling of hot drinks, etc.
- Never use a soft carrier while engaging in activities such as cooking and cleaning which involve a heat source or exposure to chemicals. Keep away from fire and strong heat sources while wearing this carrier.
- Never use a soft carrier when balance or mobility is impaired because of exercise, drowsiness, or medical conditions. It is intended for use by adults while walking or standing only. This carrier is not suitable for use during sporting activities.
- Your balance may be adversely affected by your movement and that of your baby. Take care when bending or leaning forward or sideways.
- Never wear a soft carrier while driving or being a passenger in a motor vehicle. Do not use this carrier as a child restraint in a motor vehicle. This type of carrier will not properly restrain your baby in the event of a crash.
- Never leave baby unattended in this carrier.
- Always check to ensure that all buckles, snaps, straps, and adjustments are secure before each use. Make sure baby is properly placed in the carrier, including leg placement, before each use.
- This product is subject to wear and tear over time. Check for ripped seams, torn straps or fabric and damaged fasteners before each use. Stop using the carrier if parts are missing ordamaged.
- Do not use this product if deterioration or problems are detected.
- Never lean against baby.
- Never place more than one child in this carrier. Only use the product for the number of children for which the product is intended.
- Do not wear more than one carrier at a time, ever.
- Do not use in showers, pools, or any water environments.
Machine wash cold, separately, on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Do not bleach. Wipe clean with a cloth or sponge between machine washings. Drip dry only. Do not iron or dry clean.
