PARTS DESCRIPTION
The soup maker has been designed for making soups. The appliance is suitable for indoor use only. The appliance is suitable for domestic use only.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
- Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10 cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
- Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe off all removable parts with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.
- Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V~ 50/60Hz).
USE
- Lift the lid, be careful not to touch the blender blade as it is very sharp.
- Place all the ingredients into the jug. The minimum is 1200ml. and the maximum is 2000ml.
- Important : The amount of liquid in the jug should always be between the minimum and the maximum amount. If you don’t add enough liquid, the contents of your soup will stick to the bottom of the jug.
- Note: all meats should be cooked before being added to the appliance.
- Note: do not put frozen ingredients into the appliance.
- Note: cut all ingredients into cubes of not more than 2cm (3/4 inch).
- Place the lid back onto the jug ensuring it is placed securely.
- Connect the power cord to the power connector and plug it into the mains. The appliance will beep once.
- Press the Mode button repeatedly to select the desired menu and press the start/stop button to start the program.
- To stop the program, press the start/stop button. The program can be resumed after interruption by pressing the start / stop button again. Note, that there must be a few seconds between stopping and restarting.
- Keep in mind that if the cooking process has been going on for some time, it is better to pour out all the ingredients from the jar and re-create the recipe, as this can affect the end result of the recipe.
- When the program is finished the appliance will beep for 60 seconds and all six icons will flash, unplug the appliance and carefully take off the lid.

If you soup is too chunky, use the BLEND mode to achieve the desired consistency.

Blending: 0 min Rest time: 11 min
[COMPOTE]| Enables you to produce delicious Fruit Compotes. The Program time is around 25 minutes (heat mode)
Heating: 7 min
Blending: 1 min Rest time: 17 min
[BLEND]| If your soup is not smooth enough this setting gives you an option to carry out additional blending to make your soup extra smooth. Select the blend function, press and hold the start button to operate. Do not blend for longer than 30 seconds without interruptions.
Do not lift the lid while blending to prevent it from splashing.
Do not use the function to add large quantities of vegetables or any ingredients that require the full program time to cook.

[REHEAT]| Enables you to reheat your soup. The program time is around 20 minutes.
Do not use this function for chunky soup as it also blends during the program.

Blending: 4 min Rest time: 13 min
[CLEAN]| Enables you to automatically clean the device. Program time is around 4 minutes.
Heating: 3 min
Blending: 1 min Rest time: 0 min
- If you have started the smooth or chunky mode and forgot to add a certain ingredient, simply lift the lid and add the ingredients. Replace the lid and the program continues.
Cancelling or changing programs
- If you have selected a program incorrectly and you already started the program or you want to cancel it, press the start/stop button and hold for 2 seconds, the icons will flash.
- Press the Mode button to select the correct program and press the start/ stop button to restart.
Heating
- The heating indicator will light up when the device is heating the contents.
Blending
- The blending indicator will light up when the mixing blade is in use. When switching from heating to blending the device will make a single audible beep.
- DO NOT remove the lid while using the blending mode. Resting
- During the programs, the device will occasionally ‘rest’ to prevent the contents from burning or overflowing. The timer on the display will continue to count down, no indicators will light up.
- Once the program is completed the device will beep for 60 seconds and the display will show the ‘completed’-icon.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to cool down.
- Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pads or steel wool, which damages the appliance.
- Never immerse the electrical appliance in water or any other liquid. The appliance is not dishwasher-proof.
- After use, rinse the inside of the jug with hot water to remove any soap residue.
- Then fill to the MAX mark (2000ml) with hot water, select the auto clean function, and operate once or twice to clean. Then use a warm soapy sponge to clean the inside of the jug, rinse with warm water and dry.
- The blender blades and shaft can be cleaned using a brush under hot water. Take care, the blades are very sharp.
