HOW IT WORKS
The Hood minimizes splashing so you capture as much water as possible.
The Hood can be easily removed for maintenance.
THE HOOD UPGRADE INSTALLATION
- Remove and discard both the primary screen and secondary screen, including the side clips that hold the primary screen in place. If you are installing on a Leaf Eater Plus you only need to remove the main Clean Shield screen.
- Attach The Hood screen to the Leaf Eater Original or Leaf Eater Plus body, making sure the screen is fully seated all the way around the body and held in place by the retention clips on both of the sides.
- Ensure your inlet pipe is cut to sit at least 20mm below the top surface of The Hood cover.
- If your inlet pipe is 100mm or 4”, you will need to cut away the multi fit inlet so your inlet pipe can fit inside.
- Slide the cover up your inlet pipe and fit to the screen, making sure that the skirt around the edge is fully seated in the corresponding channel on the screen.
