IMPORTANT INFORMATION – SAFETY
GENERAL
Please read this installation guide and these safety instructions carefully
before you start installing this Somfy product. Follow each instruction given
carefully and retain this guide for the lifetime of the product. This guide
describes instal lation and set-up of this product. Any installation or use
outside the scope of application deĀed by Somfy is prohibited.
Doing so would void the warranty and release Somfy of all liability, as would
any failure to comply with the instructions given herein. Somfy cannot be held
liable for any changes to norms and standards made aer publication of these
instructions.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of this product by a person responsible for their safety. Do not allow
children to play with this product.
Never immerse this product into any liquid. Do not drop, puncture or
disassemble this equipment; this will void the warranty. Do not expose the
equipment to high temperatures or leave it exposed to direct sunlight.
CAUTION
For safety reasons, always switch oour appliance before connection.
The devices connected to the socket must not exceed the power, voltage and
frequency ratings given in the table above.
The outlet must be located near the device and easily accessible.
Do not connect any devices which are radiating heat and may cause ignition or
burning of surrounding materials and if the instruction manual of the devices
prohibits to be remote controlled.
Do not use this product outdoors.
The radio range is limited by radio appliance control standards.
ADD IO-HOMECONTROL CONTROLERS
The On/Oplug io-homecontrol can be controlled either with an io-homecontrol
hand held remote control or with a TaHoma / Connexoon io-homecontrol home hub.
ADD AN IO-HOMECONTROL HAND HELD REMOTE CONTROL
- Plug the On/Oer supply.
- Select the required channel on the remote control if applicable (eg Somfy Situo 5 io remote control).
- Press and hold 3 seconds the button of the plug until the LED indicator blinks.
- Use a Āe-tipped object to press the PROG button on the back of the remote control. The LED indicator stays ON for 2 seconds.
- Check the channel programming by pressing the up button on the remote control: the LED indicator of the On/Oplug io-homecontrol will come ON permanently if the channel is programmed.
ADD A TAHOMA / CONNEXOON IO-HOMECONTROL
- Plug the On/Oer supply.
- On the TaHoma/ Connexoon io-homecontrol interface select then the conĀuration tab .
- Select the “io-homecontrol” tab (for TaHoma only), then click the “Add” button.
- Follow the procedure shown on the screen.
REMOVE IO-HOMECONTROL CONTROLERS
REMOVE ONE IO-HOMECONTROL REMOTE CONTROL
To remove a remote control programmed on the On/O
- Plug the On/Oer supply.
- Select the channel to be deleted using the remote control channel selection button if applicable.
- Press and hold 3 seconds the button of the plug until the LED indicator blinks.
- Use a Āe-tipped object to press the PROG button on the back of the remote control. The LED indicator of the On/Oplug goes OFF. The remote control channel is deleted.
- Check the channel is deleted by pressing the up button on the remote control.
The indicator light on the On/Oplug io-homecontrol will no longer come ON if the channel is deleted.
REMOVE TAHOMA / CONNEXOON IO-HOMECONTROL
- Plug the On/Oer supply.
- On the TaHoma/ Connexoon io-homecontrol interface select then the conĀuration tab .
- Select the “io-homecontrol” tab (for TaHoma only), then click the “delete” button.
- Follow the procedure shown on the screen.
REMOVE ALL IO-HOMECONTROL CONTROLERS
- Plug the On/Oer supply.
- Press and hold 7 seconds the button of the plug until the LED indicator stays ON.
WARRANTY
This product is guaranteed for 2 years.
Excluded from this warranty: normal wear and tear, alterations, revisions, da
mage due to carelessness, external inuence, areas of application for which the
product is not designed, or completely or partially dismantled products.
