Product Information

The AROVEN451 is an electric fan oven equipped with various functions for baking, grilling, and roasting. It comes with a baking tin, grill, tong, and rotisserie. The oven has three knobs for setting baking time, adjusting temperature, and selecting the function. The functioning pilot light indicates the oven’s status when in use. The round tray is not included but can be purchased separately. The oven has a steam cleaning function, allowing for easy and chemical-free cleaning. Technical Specifications

Warnings

Contact with Food

Only the baking tin, grill, and rotisserie are suitable for contact with food. Do not use them with acidic foods and limit contact to a maximum of 2 hours.

Product Maintenance

Wash the baking tin, grill, rotisserie, tong, and round tray (if applicable) with hot water and dishwashing detergent by hand. Do not use abrasive products or solvents. The oven has a steam cleaning function for easy and chemical-free cleaning.

Attention : read this booklet carefully it contains important instructions for a safe installation, use and maintenance.

Important instructions to be kept for future reference

  • This unit can be used by children aged 8 and above and individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacity, or lack of experience or knowledge, if they are provided with adequate supervision or have received instructions regarding the use of safety equipment and that they understand the risks related.
  • Children must not play with the unit.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
  • Keep the equipment and its cable out of reach of children younger than 8 years of age.
  • Accessible surfaces may reach high temperatures when the appliance is operating.
  • The surfaces are subject to heating up during use.
  • The appliance must never be operated by means of an external timer or with a separate remote control system.
  • Place the unit with its back against a wall.
  • If the power cable is damaged, it must be only be replaced at service centres authorised by the manufacturer in order to prevent any risks.
  • Before using the appliance for the first time, clean it as indicated in the “MAINTENANCE” paragraph.
  • Use your device for cooking or heating food only. Please do not use your device other than intended use.
  • Please ensure the device is unplugged and cooled down before replacing the device’s lamp.

After removing the packaging, check the appliance for any signs of damage. In case of visible damage, do not use it and contact a qualified technician. Do not leave parts of the packaging within the reach of children. This appliance is not a children’s toy: it is an electrical device and must be treated with the necessary caution. Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the power supply voltage matches the indication on the data plate. Electrical safety of this appliance is assured only if it has been connected to an effective earthing system. If the plug and socket are not compatible, the socket has to be replaced with a suitable type by skilled persons. Do not use adapters or extension cables which do not meet current safety standards or that exceed the current carrying capacity limits. Unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use. Do not tug on the power cable or on the appliance itself to remove the plug from the socket. The use of any electrical appliance requires that a number of basic rules are observed, namely:

  • Never touch the appliance with wet or humid hands.
  • Children must be supervised to make sure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • Do not use the appliance when barefoot.
  • Do not leave the appliance exposed to weathering (rain, sunlight).
  • Do not subject it to rough handling.
  • In case of failure, disconnect it at once. Do not attempt to repair it, but take it to a service centre approved by the manufacturer.
  • If you decide you do not want to use this appliance any longer, disable it by cutting the power cable

  • If the power cable gets damaged, it has to be replaced only at a service centre approved by the manufacturer.

  • Do not let any object into the ventilation inlets placed at the back of the appliance.
  • Do not place the cord near sources of heat.
  • Do not place the appliance above or below other ovens, microwave ovens or close to gas stoves.
  • Leave at least 12 cm of free space round the oven to allow for appropriate ventilation and cooling.
  • Do not move the appliance when it is on, when it is hot or when it contains food or liquids.
  • Be very careful when using containers made of materials other than metalor glass (for example ceramic).
  • Do not use containers made in plastic, paper or similar materials.
  • Use of gloves or other protective devices is recommended when handling hot food to be put into or taken out of the oven.

Light source for compartment lighting

  • This product contains a light source of energy efficiency class G.
  • The light source has special features and is intended to be used only with this oven to illuminate the compartment, do not use it for other applications.
  • The light source can be replaced by the user with one with equivalent characteristics. Follow the instructions in the MAINTENANCE paragraph.

Contact with food

Only these parts are intended for contact with food, under the conditions indicated:

  • These parts can only be used with this appliance. Do not use the parts in separate form for other applications.
  • Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the parts intended for contact with food as indicated in the MAINTENANCE paragraph.

Instructions for use

First use
Before using the oven turn it on for about 10 minutes in order to get rid of any oil residues that may have been left on the inside walls of the appliance. Before using the appliance for the first time, clean it and wash the parts in contact with food as indicated in the MAINTENANCE paragraph. To turn the power on, insert the plug into the wall socket and select the desired heating function (3). Adjust the cooking temperature (2), set the timer (1) and the unit will shut down when the time is over. You will hear a beep. The pilot lamp is ON during functioning (4) and it turns off when set temperature is reached.

Note: when the timer is set to (manual), it shall operate indefinitely.
Note: the functioning pilot light (4) on means the oven is in preheating mode. When the oven reaches the setted temperature, the functioning pilot light (4) turn off.
Note: the temperature at MAX position is approx 280°C.

The modes of use are

  • Heating below
  • Heating above
  • Heating below and above
  • Heating below and above + ventilation
  • Heating below + ventilation

YOGHURT FUNCTION
Select Yogurt function by rotating the knob of adjusting temperature to “YOGURT” indication and rotate the knob of selecting function to “heating below” icon. Preheat the oven for about 10 minutes. Boil the raw milk at 90°C for minutes, and then cool it down to 43-45°C (curing temperature). Add
yeast with a ratio of 1%-3% add stir slowly while the milk is at this temperature. Put the milk added with yeast to the 1st shelf of the pre-heated oven without closing its lid and close the oven door and set the timer to manual. After 5 hours, remove the cured yoghurt from the oven and keep it at room temperature for 15- 20 minutes, and keep the yoghurt without shaking it for 1 day at 4°C in a refrigerator. After 1 day, yoghurt is ready to be consumed.

Cooking table

The table below shows the cooking values for some foods. Cooking times are indicative and may vary according to the mains voltage, the nature of the food to be cooked, the quantity and the temperature. Cooking times can be changed according to your preferences.

Note: Please pre-heat your oven before cooking. You can use the time as the pre-heating period until the heating lamp (4) turns off. It is recommended not to load the provided trays with more than 2 Kg of food.

Maintenance

  • Disconnect the plug from the socket and let the appliance cool down well before cleaning it.

  • Never use abrasives, abrasive sponges or chemical solvents.

  • In order to clean the appliance, use a soft or slight damp cloth. Do not use very wet substances,

  • liquids or cloths to prevent water from entering into the appliance and irreparably damaging it.

  • Clean the inside of the oven after each use with a damp sponge.

  • NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE INTO THE WATER.
    Cleaning the accessories

  • Wash the baking tin (5), the grill (6), the rotisserie (9), the tong for baking tin/grill (7) and the round tray (8) with warm water and dishwashing detergent. Do not wash in the dishwasher. Do not use abrasive products, chemical solvents or abrasive sponges.

Steam cleaning

  • This allows cleaning of the dirt that is softened by the steam occurred inside the oven without using chemicals.
  • Remove all accessories from the oven. Put 2 glasses of water on the tray, and place the tray to the bottom shelf.
  • Bring the thermostat to steam cleaning mode, set the timer to 30 minutes and bring the function knob to heating below mode.
  • After operating the oven for 30 minutes, open the door and wipe the inner surface of oven with a damp cloth.
  • WARNING – the surfaces may be hot.

Inner light

  • Before replacing the light bulb, disconnect the appliance from the power supply and wait for it to cool completely.
  • ATTENTION: the bulb may be hot.
  • Remove the protection cover by unscrewing it counterclockwise and replace the bulb with one having the same technical characteristics shown on it:
  • E14, 230VAC, MAX 18W, suitable for temperatures ≥ 300°C.
  • G9, 230VAC, MAX 18W, suitable for temperatures ≥ 300°C.
  • Replace the lid by screwing it clockwise.

DISPOSAL

USER INFORMATION
“Implementation of Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)”, pertaining to reduced use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, as well as to waste disposal. The symbol of the crossed-out wheelie bin on the equipment or on its packaging indicates that the product must be disposed of separately from other waste at the end of its service life. Terms and Conditions

  • The guarantee is valid for 24 months.
  • This guarantee applies only if it has been duly filled in and is submitted with the receipt showing the date of purchase.
  • The guarantee covers the replacement or repair of parts making up the appliance which were faulty at source due to manufacturing faults.
  • After the guarantee has expired, the appliance will be repaired against payment.
  • The manufacturer declines any responsibility for damage to persons, animals or property due to misuse of the appliance and failure to observe the directions contained in the instructions.

Limits

  • All rights under this guarantee and any responsibility on our part will be voided if the appliance has been:
  • mishandled by unauthorized persons
  • improperly used, stored or transported.
  • The guarantee does not cover damage to the outward appearance or any other that does not prevent regular operation.
  • If any faults should be found despite the care taken in selecting the materials and in creating the product, or if any information or advice are required, please contact your local dealer.
