Product Usage Instructions

  1. Read the operating instructions carefully before installing and using the LED Moisture-proof Lamp Farm LINE.
  2. The lamp is designed for stationary installation on sufficiently load-bearing ceiling or wall structures outside of arm’s reach.
  3. The lamp should ensure the required level of lighting and is not intended for use in places with deposition of conductive dust.
  4. Open the housing clips and remove the cover to access the internal components of the lamp.
  5. Unscrew the cable feed lock nuts and remove the seal. Guide the mains supply line through the lock nuts and cable feed and connect to the light strip connecting terminal.
  6. Use a mains supply line with a suitable diameter to ensure sufficient sealing and strain relief.
  7. Replace the cover and close the housing clips.
  8. Mount the light to the ceiling or wall using the supplied mounting plates and fixing materials suitable for the base.
  9. Do not tamper with the lamp or use it for any purpose other than its intended use. Improper use may result in physical injury or material damage and void warranty and liability claims.

General
These operating instructions comprise instructions for use and safety information. Please read the instructions carefully and note the regulations and relevant information before putting the lamp into operation. Please keep these operating instructions in a safe place for later use!

Correct use
The lamp is used for stationary installation on sufficiently load bearing ceiling or wall structures. Installation is done outside of arm‘s reach. The lamp should ensure the required level of lighting. Not intended for use in places with deposition of conductive dust. Any other use shall be deemed incorrect. Improper use and tampering with the lamp will void warranty and liability claims.

Safety instructions

CAUTION!
Risk of physical injury and material damage if used incorrectly!

  • Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrical technician.
  •  Ensure the light is disconnected from the mains voltage before commencing work.
  •  Install and store the light out of the reach of children.
  •  Do not open the light, especially in case of defect. If required, contact the manufacturer.
  •  Only use original spare parts.
  • Do not look directly into the light beam.
  • Do not use chemicals for cleaning.
  •  This light is not suitable for accent lighting.
  •  This light cannot be dimmed.
  • Do not operate the lamp in environments where flammable gases, vapours or dust may be present.
  •  Before each use, check that the lamp is in good condition. Do not operate the lamp if a component is defective.
  • National and international safety, health and occupational safety regulations must be observed and complied with.
  •  When installing the mains supply, the appropriate standards, guidelines and requirements must be met.
  •  The consistency of the protective conductor up to the main ground of the building must be measured using appropriate means and in line with the applicable installation regulations on every lamp.
  •  Use sufficiently viable screws for fastening to the ceiling structure.
  • Ensure the cover is properly closed so as not to impair the degree of protection against water ingress.

Installation

  2.  Unscrew the cable feed lock nuts and remove the seal.
