The AIRTECHNIC AHP1 air-water heat pump is designed according the consistent high European performance and design norms:

  • Equipped with DC inverter and EVI compressor with jet enthalpy technology. This combination provides one of the highest available performance coefficient (COP).
  • Extremely reliable operation, even in harsh environments (-25 °C or +45 °C).
  • Compact structure and easy installation.
  • Hybrid software, suitable for use with gas boilers or solar systems.
  • Perfect collaboration with fan coil units or underfloor systems.

GREATER EFFICIENCY

The AHP1 air to water heat pump is equipped with a powerful EVI compressor and energy control system. It can reach an A++ energy class for the production of water at 55 °C and A+++ for the production of water at 35 °C.

R32 REFRIGERANT

AHP1 heat pump uses the new ecological R32 refrigerant gas, with low global warming potential, in line with the European F-gas Directive, for the progressive reduction of the use of greenhouse gases.
Thanks to its GWP value of 675, which is about one third of the GWP value of R410a, it helps to reduce equivalent CO2 emissions, which are the main causes of global warming.

DC INVERTER

The new design concept uses DC inverter modulations on the compressor, the fan and the water pump. This allows the delivered power to be modulated, according the thermal load and allowing very high efficiencies and significant energy savings.

EVI TECHNOLOGY TO FURTHER IMPROVE PERFORMANCE

  • Adding spraying refrigerant (medium pressure).
  • 20% increase of the refrigerant circulation amount.
  • Achieve compression twice with one compressor.
  • Increase cooling & heating efficiency.

FRESH & FAST DOMESTIC HOT WATER

With the help of EVI technology, without auxiliary electric heating, the outlet water temperature can easily reach 60 °C, even if the external temperature is as low as -15 °C. A fast DHW program working together with a fresh water station, provide instant and fresh hot water for the user.

LOW NOISE LEVEL

The compressor with dual vibration reducing design, metallic noise isolating cover and full DC inverter system (compressor, fan and pump) has silent and extra silent mode as standard feature. Users can choose the appropriate silent mode according the time period.

NO NEED FOR REFRIGERANT CERTIFICATE

With the Monoblock type design and the factory filled refrigerant (R32), no refrigerant certificate required by the installer.
ANTI-FREEZING PROTECTION
Mechanically controlled (via temperature) plate exchanger anti-freeze function. It keeps the heat pump from freezing in case of any malfunction.

CONTROL SYSTEM

Smart Hybrid System With a Gas boiler.
Easy connection with a gas boiler in order to get a hybrid system. The AHP1 heat pump is equipped with m-source multi-energy management program, which the user can easily manage whether he uses a gas boiler or a wood (pellet) burning boiler as a backup heat source.
Automatic switch between heat pump and gas boiler, or parallel function, in order to ensure an efficient and stable system operation. It is possible to add solar heating to the system for additional energy saving.

Smart grid ready.
If photovoltaic power supply is enough, the heat pump will operate at its maximum capability, heating the DHW tank to its highest temperature and then storing the heat (cold) to the energy storage tank (PCM).

Phase Change Material (PCM) – Energy Storage Management (optional).

Automatic switch between heat pump and PCM , or parallel operation, for room heating.

CLIMATE CURVE

The function allows to adjust the water temperature set point according the outside air temperature.

COMBINATION OF SEVERAL HEAT PUMPS

When a large capacity is required, it is possible to use multiple heat pumps in a modular installation and cascade sequence, supported by powerful software. This allows for many design possibilities with not only different combinations of air source heat pump modules, but even a combination of air source heat pump and ground source heat pump modules.
