**How to get the Dongle working with your aftermarket Android head
unit**
Thank you for purchasing our Car play/Android Auto aftermarket dongle, please find below the steps to get it working with your Aftermarket android head unit:
Step 1
Install the apk file onto your head unit.
- Please download the file sent to you via we transfer it and pop the file onto a USB or an SD card.
- Find your apk installer.
- Select the USB option
- Follow prompts to Install the AutoPay apk file.
Step 2
plug in the Dongle
- Now that the Auto play apk is installed, plug the dongle into a USB input on your aftermarket head unit.
- Go into the Auto play app
- Before connecting your phone, go into the settings menu (cog wheel icon in the top left-hand corner).
- Select the option compatible.
- Select return.
Android Auto connection
Make sure you have Android Auto installed on your phone and simply plug your
phone into the USB on the end of the dongle.
Wireless Car play
- Make sure your Wi-fi is turned on your phone (does not have to be connected to anything, just has to be on).
- Go into your Bluetooth settings on your iPhone.
- Look for the dongle code presented on the screen.
- Select the dongle code on your phone.
- Phone should connect.
