Please read this manual before installing this product.

Thank you for purchasing the BT50Luxx
Before installing, be sure to thoroughly read these instructions.
Warranty for this product is 2 years from date of purchase, however
warranty will be void if:
- The unit is tampered with, damaged or modified in anyway.
- Reverse camera cable is cut or modified in any way (If applicable).
- Reverse camera is subjected to over voltage (if applicable).
- The Navigation SD card is damaged or tampered with in any way (this includes installing foreign mapping or software onto the SD card).
- The installation of 3rd party apps that may cause harm to the unit.
- Warranty Terms
The BT50Luxx is covered for 2 years and includes:
- Defective Equipment
- Defective Cables
Not Covered under warranty:
- Abuse
- Improper installation
- Alteration to Cables (includes cutting of any cables)
- Accidents
- Water damage
- Improper use
- Labour
- Postage and Handling

Installation Notes
- The wiring and installation of this unit requires special technical skill and experience. If you do not feel confident installing this product or do not have the level of skill necessary, please contact Polaris on 1300 555 514 so we can refer to a recommended installer.
- This unit is designed to be used in a vehicle with a 12 volt battery and a negative grounding. Before installing this unit to a recreational vehicle, bus, or truck, make sure the battery voltage is appropriate for this unit to be used.
- To avoid short circuit in the electrical system, ensure that the negative battery cable is disconnected before installation.
- To avoid possibility of shorting out the electrical circuit in the unit, never connect the battery wire directly to the vehicle battery.
- Always secure all wirings with cable clamps or adhesive tape to prevent short circuit.
- Please make sure all wiring connections and speaker wires are well insulated.
- When pulling the dash apart, please use quality trim tools to avoid damaging your dash.
- Please do NOT cut any plugs off of any Polaris cameras. Doing so will void your warranty! If you need to blend other brand cameras into our system, please call Polaris on 1300 555 514 so we can refer you to a recommended dealer who has the skill and experience in performing this type of work.
- If there is something you are not 100% sure about when installing this unit, please give our experienced technicians a call on 1300 555 514.
Removing your panel
- Use trim tool to remove air con control panel
- Pull Air conditioning panel out.
- Unplug harness and set air con panel aside
- Use trim tool to remove fascia panel
- Gently pull fascia out
- Unplug button panel and set aside
- Remove 2 screws holding OEM screen in place
- Unplug harness and set screen aside
- Remove 2 screws holding the CD housing in place
- Unplug harness and set CD housing aside

Other wiring
- Hazard Switch extension cable
- 2 x USB retention adaptors > plug these into the cabled USB’s to retain your glove box USB and one USB in your panel (if required).
- External Bluetooth microphone: unit does have internal microphone but you can run the external microphone if you like. Normally mounted on steering wheel or top of drivers side panel
- External GPS Antenna: Please mount this on top of your dash with the black side facing the sky
- Speaker: Only used if you have OEM sensors and want to retain the sound. Note: If this doesn’t work, unplug the red/white adaptor on main harness and plug in without adaptor.
- Reverse Camera cable with purple wire: NOT USED—use Plug H for reverse Camera

- CONSTANT CAMERA AND TRIGGER
- RCA CAMERA WITH REVERSE TRIGGER ONLY
- IF NO REVERSE TRIGGER IS FOUND PLEASE FOLLOW THE SECOND DIAGRAM, IF YOU WOULD LIKE A CONSTANT CAMERA AS WELL, A TRIGGER MUST BE BROUGHT FROM REVERSE LIGHT
Prepare the fascia
- Remove clips from original fascia panel…
- Attach clips to new fascia panel
BT50 with OEM navigation
IMPORTANT: If your BT50 had factory navigation in it, you will need to
bypass the module for Accessories power:

in it, please use the BLACK antenna connection that was originally plugged
into the back of the OEM screen (not the CD Housing).
Install the new head unit and fascia
- Make sure all of your wiring is plugged into the back of the head unit and all of your cables are tucked away neatly before securing the unit in place.
- Rest unit in place, test all features first and gently push fascia panel back into position
- Plug the air conditioning control harnesses into the back of the Air con panel
- Gently push air conditioning controls back in.
