Thank you for your purchase from Kmart.
Kmart Australia Ltd warrants your new product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period stated above, from the date of purchase, provided that the product is used in accordance with the accompanying recommendations or instructions where provided. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Kmart will provide you with your choice of a refund, repair or exchange (where possible) for this product if it becomes defective within the warranty period. Kmart will bear the reasonable expense of claiming the warranty. This warranty will no longer apply where the defect is a result of alteration, accident, misuse, abuse or neglect. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase and contact our Customer Service Centre on 1800 124 125 (Australia ) or 0800 945 995 (New Zealand ) or alternatively, via Customer Help at kmart.com.au for any difficulties with your product. Warranty claims and claims for expense incurred in returning this product can be addressed to our Customer Service Centre at 690 Springvale Rd, Mulgrave Vic 3170.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
For New Zealand customers, this warranty is in addition to statutory rights observed under New Zealand legislation.

How To Assemble

  1. Before you start to assemble your tree, place the tree stand on a level surface.
  2. Read instruction completely before you assemble the tree.
  3. Insert bottom section C into stand with screws provided, make sure it is tightly secured.
  4. Insert the trunk end of the middle section B into the pole of the bottom section.(Different size of the tree may contains several parts of middle section)
  5. Insert tree top A into the trunk and make sure the tab fits tightly into the slot in the tree trunk.
  6. Open all the branches. Shape the branches, start with tips farthest from the pole, one to the right, one to the left and one at the centre of the main stem.
  7. Wrap the end tip around the wire near the pole.
  8. After shaping the whole tree following the previous steps, step back and take an overall look at the tree. Shift branches to fill any gap. Slightly upsweep all branch tips for a natural look.
  9. The tree comes with connector(s) and adaptor(s). (Different styles of the tree may contain several pieces of connector and adaptor). Plug the light set to the connector provided and plug the connector into the adaptor, then plug the adaptor to the power outlet.
  10. Connect the male and female plug by locating the matching color coding label.
    How To Assemble

Disassembly And Storage Tips

  1. Save the carton.
  2. Pull out the plug from wall outlet, and remove all ornaments and decorations
  3. Disassemble the tree by reversing the sequences stated in the assembly instruction. Do not detach factory pre-plugged light sets
  4. In case of difficulty separating the tree poles (trunk), apply a small amount of lubricant at the joint and rotate the upper pole in both directions. Lift up the upper pole again.
  5. Pressing branches against stem before removing the top to bottom section gently. Carefully replace the tree in its box and tape it shut. Store carton in a loose and dry place.
  6. Do not put the tree direct under sunlight or in a damp area or an area where the temperature exceeds 40 C or 90 F .
  7. Please save these instructions.

Installation And Instructions

  1. This tree is suitable for INDOOR USE.
  2. The adaptor MUST be installed INDOORS away from weather.
  3. Do not position or place near heaters or any other direct sources of heat.
  4. This product is suitable for positioning on surfaces which have normal flammability, e.g. wood, plasticboard, masonry. However this does not include highly flammable surfaces (e.g. polystyrene, textiles)
  5. Always position cables and extension leads so that they will not be a hazard to the elderly, pets and children.
  6. D0 NOT position this set where it may become covered by other items. e.g. curtains, nets or bedding
  7. Ensure the unit (s) is positioned so that you have enough cable to reach an indoor mains power socket.
  8. The external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire cannot be replaced. If the cord is a damaged, the luminaire shall be destroyed.
  9. Do not connect the tree to the supply while it is in the packaging. Max 3 lighting chain interconnected and max. system wattage are 3.5W after inconnected.
  10. For lighting chains intended for interconnection.
    • Do not interconnect parts of this lighting chain with parts of another manufacturer’s lighting chain”
    • Interconnection shall be made only by the use of the supplied connectors. Any open ends must be sealed-off before use.”

  • Do not try to remove these non-replaceable bulbs.
  • This product is NOT designed for permanent or long-term use.
  • The supplied adaptor is suitable for operation of LED Modules only.
  • Only operate this light set with the supplied adaptor, Model No. JT-DC31 V3.6W H5
  • Do not connect this tree electrically to another tree.
  • Do not connect this tree to the power supply while it is in the packaging.
  • If any part of light set or cable is damaged, the light set MUST be discarded.
  • This product is for use as a decoration only. Not to be used by children as a toy. Keep out of reach of children.
  • Always switch off this light set or unplug an adaptor if unattended.
  • DO NOT overload power sockets or extension leads.
  • DO NOT pierce the cable when sourcing in place, bend or stand on the tree, as this will damage the bulbs or wiring.
  • Please refer to the packing or product rating label for product class, specifications and rating.
  • The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced
  • Do not allow interconnect to light chain other than supplied set.

LED Bulbs

This light set is constructed with non-replaceable bulbs. DO NOT attempt to replace any of the bulbs in the light set.
