Climate systems and zones
- Multiple climate systems are used when different supply temperatures are required for different parts of the system, for example when both underfloor heating and radiators are fitted in a property.
- A climate system can be divided up into several zones, which can be allocated one or more sensors or other accessories.
- A zone could be a specific room or part of larger premises.
OUTLINE DIAGRAM WITH CLIMATE SYSTEMS AND ZONES
The example shows a property with two climate systems. Climate system 1 is a radiator system with two zones. Zone 1 is the controlling zone and there are two THS 10 installed, which means that the heat pump extracts the heat from the stove more rapidly. Zone 2 is the zone displayed, which means that the temperature and humidity can be read off in the myUplink app or via myuplink.com. Climate system 2 is an underfloor heating system with one zone, which is the controlling zone.
Connection
Pairing is performed in the heat pump’s/control module’s display, select menu 5.4 – Connect wireless units.
PAIR YOUR WIRELESS ACCESSORY WITH YOUR MAIN PRODUCT
MENU 5.4 – CONNECT WIRELESS UNITS
- Here, you connect your wireless units. Press “Add unit” and follow the guide that is launched. You can also check the connected units’ battery level and signal strength.
CONNECT TO NETWORK
- RPP 10 must be connected to an outlet in order to connect to a network.
- If RPP 10 is flashing red (once every five seconds), it is searching for a wireless network to connect to. If no network is found, searching stops after 5 minutes. You can start a new search by pressing and holding the button on RPP 10 for 3 seconds.
- If you need to test the range of the signal, RPP 10 can be connected to the heat pump at close range and then moved further away. Wait for at least 30 minutes. The signal strength can then be read off in the heat pump’s/control module’s menu system (menu 5.4).
- To leave a network and reset RPP 10, press and hold the button for 10 seconds and wait until the red LED comes on for 5 seconds.
LOCATION
- Place RPP 10 in a free space to achieve the best range; you should therefore avoid locations such as between shelves and behind curtains.
- In a free space, RPP 10 has a maximum range of 30 m.
