THIS MANUAL CONTAINS IMPORTANT SAFETY AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The POWERBOX PB-02 can start engine equipped with Lead Acid batteries only. It is not recommended for lithium batteries.
PRODUCT LAYOUT
WARNING
This manual includes guidelines on the operation of your device and the
precautions to follow for your own safety. Ensure it is read carefully before
first use and keep it handy for future reference. This device should only be
used for start-up and / or power supply within the limits indicated on the
device and in the manual. The safety instructions must be followed. In case of
improper or unsafe use, the manufacturer cannot be held responsible.
This device may be used by children from age 8 and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been told how to use the device safely and are aware of the potential risks. Children must not use the device as a plaything. Cleaning and servicing tasks may not be carried out by children unless they are supervised.
- Do not use for charging non-rechargeable batteries
- Do not operate the device with a damaged power supply cord or a damaged mains plug.
- Do not use any charger other than the one supplied with the machine to charge the batteries.
- Do not use the device if the charging cable appears to be damaged or assembled incorrectly in order to avoid any risk of short circuiting the battery (Power Box charger).
- Never charge a frozen or damaged battery.
- Do not cover the device. Do not place the device near a fire or subject it to heat or to longterm temperatures exceeding 50°C.
- Risk of explosion or acid projection if the clamps are shortcircuited or if the 12V booster is connected to a 24V vehicle or vice versa.
- The automatic mode of operation and usage restrictions are explained below in these operating instructions.
RISK OF EXPLOSION AND FIRE!
A battery being charged can emit explosive gas.
- Avoid flames and sparks. Do not smoke.
- Protect the electrical contacts of the battery against short-circuiting.
ACID PROJECTION HAZARD!
- Wear safety goggles and protective gloves.
- If your eyes or skin come into contact with battery acid, rinse the affected part of the body with plenty of water and seek immediate medical assistance.
CONNECTION / DISCONNECTION
- Disconnect the power supply before connecting/disconnecting the device to/from the battery.
- The terminal of the battery that is not connected to the car frame must be connected first. The other connection must be made on the car frame, far from the battery and the fuel line.
- After the start-up operation, disconnect the booster. First remove the chassis connection and then the battery connection, in the order shown.
ENTRETIEN
- The power supply cable cannot be replaced. If the cable is damaged, the device should not be used. Service should be performed by a qualified person.
- Warning! Always remove the power plug from the wall socket before carrying out any work on the device. Under no circumstances should solvents or other aggressive cleaning agents be used.
- Clean the device’s surfaces with a soft, dry cloth.
REGULATIONS
- The device complies with European Directive.
- EAC conformity mark (Eurasian Economic Commission).
- Equipment in compliance with British requirements.
DISPOSAL
- This product should be disposed of at an appropriate recycling facility. Do not dispose of in domestic waste.
- The battery must be removed from the device before the latter is discarded.
- The battery must be dropped off at a suitable recycling facility.
- The device must absolutely be disconnected from the power supply network before removing the battery.

Extreme outside temperatures or mechanical problems on the vehicle (poor starter, no fuel or engine problems) can limit the booster’s capacity.
OPERATION
- Press the ON / OFF button. The display shows the remaining power and the activated output ports.
- The display shows a percentage charge from 0% to 100% when the Power Box is fully charged.
Recharge the Power Box before first use and after each use.
CHARGING PROCESS
- Plug the USB cable to a charger with a USB output
- Plug the USB-C end of the cable to the input port of the Power Box start the charge.
Or
- Plug car adaptor to the car cigarette lighter socket.
- Plug the other end of the adapter to the input port of the Power Box to start the charge
STARTING THE VEHICLE
Emergency start function for gas or diesel vehicles equipped with a 12V battery.
To start a vehicle, please process as follows:

- Connect the red clamp to the (+) of the battery.
- Connect the black clamp to the (-) of the battery.
3| | If the lights «Start» and «Error» flash alternately in green and red, the
product is ready.
If only the «Error» light is on, the internal battery of the Power Box is too
low. Charge the product.
4| | If the «Start» light becomes green and the «Error» light turns off,
everything is ok. Make a start within 30 seconds.
⚠ Do not exceed 3 starts with a time interval of 30s between each.
5| | After starting, disconnect the smart start cable from its connector and
remove the 2
clamps from the vehicle’s battery terminals within 30 seconds.
⚠ Leave the vehicle running.
6| | If all 3 starts
fail, check the «Error» light.
A red «Error» light on is synonymous with an engine or connection problem.
7| | After the start-
up, if the internal battery is less than 80%, recharge the Power Box.
⚠ Wait at least 30 minutes after starting the vehicle to charge the Power Box
POWER.
CHARGING MOBILE PHONES
- Plug your cable to the Power Box USB port 1 or USB port 2 .
- Select the appropriate adaptor for your mobile phone or table and plug it in. The Power Box launches the charge automatically.
POWER SUPPLY
- Connect a 12V power supply cable (not supplied) to the 12V 5A output port .
- Link the power supply cable to the power socket of your 12V electrical device.
FLASHLIGHT FUNCTION
Press the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds to turn on the LEDs.
Briefly press the button to switch lighting modes (3 available modes: normal,
stroboscope and SOS).

PROTECTIONS
This device is protected against overload, overheating, overintensity, deep
discharge, short circuit and polarity reversal.

MAINTENANCE
The warranty covers faulty workmanship for 1 year from the date of purchase (parts and labor).
The warranty does not cover:
- Transit damage.
- Normal wear of parts (eg.: cables, clamps, etc..).
- Damages due to misuse (power supply error, dropping of equipment, disassembling).
- Environment related failures (pollution, rust, dust).
In case of failure, return the unit to your distributor together with:
- The proof of purchase (receipt etc …)
- A description of the fault reported
