The Socket-outlet should be installed near the apparatus and be easily accessible.
Read and follow these instructions when connecting and using your ePaper display:

Unplug the display if you need to clean it with a slightly damp cloth. The screen many be wiped with a dry cloth when the power is off. However, never use alcohol, solvents or ammonia-based liquids.

Consult a service technician if the display does not operate normally when you have followed the instructions in this manual.

The casing cover should be opened only by qualified service personnel.

Keep the display out of direct sunlight and away from stoves or any other heat sources.

Keep the display away from oil, otherwise the plastic cover may be damaged.。

Remove any object that could fall into the vents or prevent proper cooling of the display’s electronics.

Keep the display dry. To avoid electric shock, do not expose it to rain or excessive moisture.

The device may fall, causing serious personal injury or death. To prevent injury, this device must be securely attached to the floor/wall in accordance with the installation instructions.
Important Safety Instructions

- Do not use this apparatus near water.

- Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
- Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

CAUTION: These servicing instructions are for use by qualified service personnel only. To reduce the risk of electric shock,do not perform any servicing other than that contained in the operating instructions unless you are qualified to do so.
Important information
Never place a Display in an unstable location. A Display may fall, causing serious personal injury or death. Many injuries, particularly to children, can be avoided by taking simple precautions such as:

Using cabinets or stands recommended by the manufacturer of the Display.

Do not place the side Wi-Fi near any metal objects or metal walls. If the side Wi-Fi needs to be placed beside a metal object or metal wall, please keep a distance of at least 1.2 meters. Do not place it in front of any metal object, metal wall or metal desk. If it is placed directly in front of a metal object or against a metal wall, please keep a distance of at least 1.2 meters.

It is recommended to place the router behind the electronic screen without any metal or solid wall in the middle.

“Burn-in” may appear if the screen is not refreshed for a long time, and it is recommended to refresh the screen at least once every 48 hours. If the “burn-in” problem occurs, reduce the problem by alternating all black and all white pictures. The number of times alternating black and white pictures required depends on how long the screen has not been refreshed.

The optical values of EPD will be different in the three temperature ranges of low (15~19°C), middle (20~29°C) and high (30~35°C), resulting in slight discoloration of the displayed color, which belongs to the EPD characteristics with high sensitivity to temperature. It is normal that the temperature change picture will have color differences in a short time, and will not have adverse effects on the functional operation of the whole machine.
The built-in battery is a rechargeable battery, please charge it strictly according to the battery manual provided by the battery manufacturer.
To avoid possible injury, follow these instructions:
DO NOT open, disassemble, or service any battery.
DO NOT crush or puncture the battery.
DO NOT short-circuit the battery, or expose it to water or other liquids.
DO NOT dispose of in fire.
Do NOT use another type of battery to replace the batteries.
FCC notices
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
The company, firm or user shall not change the frequency, increase the power or change the characteristics and functions of the original design of the low- power RF equipment without approval.
The use of low-power RF equipment shall not affect flight safety or interfere with legal communications; If interference is found, it shall be stopped immediately and can be used only after it is improved to no interference.
The foregoing legal communications refer to radio communications operated in accordance with the provisions of the Telecommunications Administration Act. Low-power RF equipment must withstand the interference of legitimate communication or industrial, scientific and medical electrical equipment radiated by radio waves.
Avoid affecting the operation of nearby radar systems.
High-gain directional antenna can only be used in fixed point-to-point system.
Note: The electronic paper screen is composed of plastic film and ultra-thin glass, which is different from the LCD screen normally used. It cannot withstand any external impact, such as single-point or heavy object pressure, which may cause damage or breakage of the screen; please pay special attention to its use. The warranty does not cover screen breakage.
1. Unpacking and Installation
1.1. Unpacking
- This product is packed in a carton, together with the standard accessories.
- Any other optional accessories will be packed separately.
- After opening the carton, ensure that the contents are complete and in good condition.
1.2. Package Contents
Please verify that you received the following items with your package content:

- Quick start guide
- USB C Cable
- Items may differ in different locations
- Display design and accessories may differ from the images shown.
NOTES:
- For all other regions, apply a power cord that conforms to the AC voltage of the power socket and has been approved by and complies with the safety regulations of the particular country.
- Keep the packaging materials appropriately after unpacking the product.
1.3. Installation Notes
- The product should be installed on a flat surface, or the product may tip over. Leave a space between the rear of the product and the wall for proper ventilation. Do not install the product in a kitchen, bathroom or a place exposed to moisture, failure to do so may shorten the life of the internal parts.
- Do not install the product where it is 3,000m and higher in altitude. Failure to do so may result in malfunctions.
1.4. Mounting on a Wall
If you want to display this electronic paper on the wall of the kanban, you can use this electronic paper to display the wall-mounted iron parts of the kanban.
- Prepare a flat and horizontal surface that is larger than the display and spread a thick protective sheet on it to facilitate your operation without scratching the screen.
- Ensure you have all accessories for all types of mounting (wall mount, ceiling mount, table stand, etc).
- Follow the instructions that came with the base mounting kit. Failure to follow the correct mounting procedures could result in damage to the equipment, or injury to the user or installer. The product warranty does not cover the damage caused by improper installation.
- For the wall-mounting kit, use the M3 mounting screws (with a length 6 mm longer than the thickness of the mounting bracket) and tighten them securely.
- Required space for ventilation
Leave a space of 100 mm at the top, rear, right and left of the display for ventilation.
2. Parts and Functions
Introduction to the

Power key: Switch the work/sleep mode and restore the factory page.
A. In the sleep mode, press once, and the green LED indicator light will be on for 3s to wake up the device to enter the working mode;
B. Press three times continuously within 2s to enter the sleep mode;
C. Press continuously for 5s, the screen will be updated to the initial screen and enter the working mode. -
LED:
Red LED:
A. When the battery power is less than 20%, the buzzer rings three times continuously, and the red LED indicator flashes for 3s;
B. Plug in the USB Type-C and charge it immediately after it is powered on. If the power of the device is less than 100%, the red LED indicator light will always be on; If the power of the device is equal to 100%, the red LED indicator will go out;
C. When the USB Type-C is disconnected from the device, the LED indicator is red.
LED indicator green:When you wake up the device or restart the device by pressing the Reset button, the green LED indicator will be on for 3s.
- Reset key: press the Reset key briefly to force the device to restart.
- USB C port:It is used to charge the built-in lithium battery of the table.
- Mirco USB port: capable of connecting external keyboard. (keyboard shipped separately)
- HIPAA privacy switch: privacy protection function. When the table card is removed from the bracket, the screen will be cleared and beeped three times for prompt.
3. Cleaning and Troubleshooting
3.1. Cleaning
Caution When Using the Display
- Be sure to disconnect all cables before moving the monitor. Moving the monitor with its cables attached may damage the cables and thus cause fire or electric shock.
- Disconnect the power plug from the wall outlet as a safety precaution before carrying out any type of cleaning or maintenance procedure.
Front Panel Cleaning Instructions
- The front of the display has been specially treated. Wipe the surface gently using only a cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth.
- If the surface becomes dirty, soak a soft, lint-free cloth in a mild detergent solution. Wring the cloth to remove excess liquid. Wipe the surface of the display to remove dirt. Then use a dry cloth of the same type to dry.
- Do not scratch or hit the surface of the panel with fingers or hard objects of any kind.
- Do not use volatile substances such as insert sprays, solvents and thinners.
