VONROC WB501XX Clamping Workbench
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the enclosed safety warnings, the additional safety warnings and the
instructions. Failure to follow the safety warnings and the instructions may
result in electric shock, fi re and/or serious injury. Save the safety warnings
and the instructions for future reference.
The following symbols are used in the user manual or on the product:
SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Make sure that all screws, nuts and bolts are fi tted and securely tightened.
- T he plastic feet should be fi tted to the ends of the legs to protect against slipping. Note: the plastic feet are not symmetrical. The “highest” part should be facing the outer corner of the leg.
- Check clamping device for smooth movement.
- D o not use the clamping workbench as seating, as a step stool, step ladder or other stand aid. D o not exceed rated load capacity or clamping power.
- Heavy loads must be placed down carefully onto the work bench.
- Distribute weight evenly across the worktop. Do not apply an unbalanced load that could cause the unit to tip over.
- Support long work pieces, for example with another workbench.
- Only set up on solid, level surfaces.
- All four legs must be in contact with the ground, use shims if necessary.
- Be sure the workpiece is properly secured whilst working.
- Only push down with your hands to stabilise the worktop.
- Do not brace table with your feet.
- Keep out of the reach of children. Keep the product in a safe place.
- Do not use any attachments or accessories not recommended by the manufacturer of the product. The use of attachments or accessories not recom-mended can result in serious personal injury.
- D o not expose to rain or use in damp locations. Save these instructions. Refer to them frequently and use them to instruct others who may use this accessory.
- If you loan someone this acces-sory, loan them these instructions also to prevent misuse of the product and possible injury.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Intended use
The Clamping Workbench is designed and intended for domestic use, to clamp
items for machining such as sawing, painting or cleaning, sanding, polishing
and gluing in home and garden environ-ments and for hobby purposes. This
workbench is not a toy. Children should be supervised at all times to ensure
they do not play with the workbench. This workbench is not developed for
professional use. The Clamping Workbench must be handled, cared for and
maintained in accordance with these in-structions. Any other use is deemed
improper and may result in damage to property or personal injury.

ASSEMBLY

- Lay the Table tops (9) down with the screw holes facing up.

- Fasten both Slide bases (7) onto the Table tops (9) using the screws (1).
- Make sure the screws are tightened securely, without overtightening.

Connect the Leg frames (10) to the Slide bases (7) by using the Bolt, nut, washer M8 (3).
If you prefer, you can do this while keeping the workbench turned upside down. -
Do not overtighten the Bolts (3), as this will prevent the workbench from folding and unfolding easily.

- Place the Crossbars (8) onto the Leg frames (10). Fasten by using the Bolt, nut, washer M6 (2). If you prefer, you can do this while keeping the workbench turned upside down.
- Make sure the screws are tightened securely, without overtightening.

- Attach the Plastic feet (5) to the legs.
- Note : The plastic feet are not symmetrical. The ‘highest’ part should be facing the outer corner of the leg.

- Insert the Bench clamps (6) into one of the holes of the Table tops (9).
OPERATION

- To clamp a workpiece in the vice jaws, turn the hand cranks in clockwise direction. To unclamp a workpiece in the vice jaws, turn the hand cranks anticlockwise.

- When unfolding the workbench, make sure to push the folding braces downwards.
- To fold the workbench, fi rst use the hand cranks to fully clamp the vice jaws. Then push the folding braces in upwards direction as shown in the fi gure and fold the workbench. If this is diffi cult to do, slightly loosen the screws shown in fi gure C.
MAINTENANCE
The workbench is designed to function faultlessly for a long period and with a minimum of maintenance. Extend its lifespan by regularly cleaning the machine and treating it correctly.
Cleaning
Regularly clean the workbench, preferably after each use. Clean with a
suitable proprietary house-hold cleaner and a soft dry cloth. Do not submerge
your workbench in water or any liquid for any rea-son. Do not use solvents
(petrol, alcohol, ammonia, etc.) as they will damage the plastic parts.
Storage
Store your workbench indoors in a dry environment away from contaminants. Only
store the workbench when it is dry. Do not subject your workbench to humid or
damp environments, these can damage the workbench. Store out of reach of
children. Store fl at or hang from the wall.
Maintenance
Never use a damaged or broken clamping work-bench. Temporary repairs are not
permitted. Check the plastic feet of the workbench before and after use of the
workbench. Do not use the workbench
