4. AVOID DANGEROUS ENVIRONMENTS. Do not charge battery in rain, snow, damp or wet locations. 11. BATTERY CHEMICALS CAUSE SERIOUSs BURNS.. Never allow contact with Skin, eyes, or mouth. If a damaged battery leakS any fluid, use rubber or neoprene gloves to dispose of it. If skin is exposed to battery fluids, wash with soap and water and rinse with vinegar. f eyes are exposed to battery chemicals, immediately flush with water for 20 minutes and seek medical attention. Remove and dispose of contaminated clothing. NOT BURN OR INCINERATE BATTERIES.
12. DO NOT SHORT CIRCUIT. A short-circuited battery pack may cause fire, personal injury, and product damage. A battery pack will short circuit if a metal object makes a connection between the positive and negative contacts on the battery pack. Do not place a battery pack near anything that may cause a short circuit, such as coins, keys or nails in your pocket.
13. DO NOT ALLOW FLUIDS TO FLOW INTO BATTERY PACK. Corrosive or conductive fluids, Such as seawater, certain industrial chemicals, and bleach or bleach containing producis, etc., can cause a short circuit.

BATTERY Maintenance and Storage

Do not expose your battery or cordless tools to water or rain, or allow them to get wet. This could damage the tool and battery. Do not use oil or solvents to clean or lubricate your battery. The plastic casing will become brittle and crack, causing a risk of injury. Store batteries at room temperature away from moisture. Do not store in damp locations where corrosion of terminals may occur. As with other battery types, permanent capacity loss can result if the pack is stored for long periods of time at high temperatures (over 50°C). MILWAUKEE® Li-Ion batteries maintain their charge during storage longer than other battery types. After about a year of storage, charge the battery as normal.

WARNING To reduce the risk of injury or explosion, never burn or incinerate a battery pack even if it is damaged, dead or completely discharged. When burned, toxic fumes and materials are created.

Disposing of MILWAUKEE® Li-Ion Battery
MILWAUKEE® Li-Ion batteries are more environmentally friendly than some other types of power tool batteries. Always dispose of your battery according to federal, state and local regulations. Contact a recycling agency in your area for recycling locations. Even discharged batteries contain some energy. Before disposing, use electrical tape to cover the terminals to prevent the battery from shorting, which could cause a fire or explosion.

WARNING Use and charge only REDLITHIUM™ USB batteries in this USB rechargeable light. Other types of batteries may cause personal injury and damage.

Inserting the Battery

1. Twist the light cap and remove.
2. Line up the battery arrow with flashlight arrow , and fully insert the battery.
3. Replace the light cap and twist to secure.

Charging the Battery

1. Plug your USB cable into a power source such as an AC wall adaptor, computer or car port. Charge rates may vary depending on the power source’s maximum output.

   NOTE: Always close the USB cover when light is not charging to maintain dust and moisture protection.

3. The indicator light will display the charging status:

Red Pulsing: Charging, 0-49% charged Yellow Pulsing: Charging, 50-99% charged Green Solid: 100% Charged Red/Green Flashing: Cold, Wet, Faulty or No Battery Red Solid: Over temperature (too hot) If the light indicator flashes red and green, check that the battery is fully seated into the bay. Remove the battery and re-insert. If the light continues to flash red and green, the battery may be extremely hot or cold, or damaged. Allow the battery to cool down or up, and then re-insert. If the problem persists, contact a MILWAUKEE® service facility.

Removing the Battery

1. Twist the light cap and remove.
2. Grasp the accessible sides of the battery and slide the battery out.
3. Replace the light cap and twist to secure.

Operation

CAUTION reduce the risk of injury, do not stare at the operating light source. To avoid damage/discoloration to surfaces due to high temperatures, do not set the light lens-down during use. Press the power buttonO to turn the light on and off. Press and hold the power buttonO to cycle through the modes:_ High, Medium, and Low. Release the power button when you have reached desired mode.
NOTE: The light will default to the selected brightness setting the next time it is turned on. The indicator light Will display the battery life each time it is turned on and off: The indictor light will display the battery life:

• Green Solid: 50-100% remaining
• Yellow Solid: 10-49% remaining
• Red Solid: 4-9% remaining
• Red Flashing: 0-3% remaining

Extreme Cold: When the battery is -20°C, the LEDs will flash red/green 3 times before entering sleep mode. When the battery is -20°C to -15°C, only low and medium modes are available. Overheating: If the flashlight starts to dim and the indicator light is solid red, the battery may be too hot. Normal function will resume when the battery has cooled.

WARNING To reduce the risk of injury, always unplug the charger and remove the battery from the charger before performing any maintenance. The charger and battery have no internal serviceable parts. Never disassemble the battery or charger.

Boost Mode
The light has a boost mode that will increase the lumens to 2000 lumens. This mode can be activated for a maximum of 35 seconds and then it will automatically dim to the medium setting. To activate the boost mode, turn the light on and from any brightness setting double press the power button. To turn boost mode off prior to the 35 second limit, double press the power button again and the light will revert to the original brightness level.

Slide Focus
To change from a wide beam to a spot beam, slide the light cap forward. The focus is variable and can be left at any desired point between the limits of the focus.

Belt Clip
The light is fitted with a detachable belt clip. To remove the clip, grasp and pull the arm of the clip at the point it joins the ring and the clip will come away from the light. To re-attach the clip, grasp the light securely and push the clip into the groove on the light that holds the clip in place.

Maintenance and Storage
Store your charger in a cool, dry place. As a general practice, it is best to unplug battery chargers and remove batteries when not in use. No battery damage will occur, however, if the charger and battery are left plugged in.

Cleaning
Clean out dust and debris from charger vents and electrical contacts by blowing with compressed air. Use only mild soap and a damp cloth to clean the battery and charger, keeping away from all electrical contacts. Certain cleaning agents and solvents are harmful to plastics and other insulated parts. Some of these include petrol, turpentine, lacquer thinner, paint thinner, chlorinated cleaning solvents, ammonia and household detergents containing ammonia. Never use flammable or combustible solvents around batteries, charger, or tools.
