WHY YOUR PRODUCT DOES NOT COME WITH A CHARGING BRICK

In order to reduce electronics wastage and keep the Quad Charging Mat affordable, we made the charging brick an optional add-on for those who need it. Quad Charging Mat requires a 10W or above power brick and cable. Instead of purchasing a new one, you may already have a suitable charger with you. Here is a list of common devices that come with suitable charging bricks:

CHARGING FIREFLY

  • You may use your own USB-C cable but please ensure that it is rated to support a 10W power source.
  • Open the Quad Charger and lay it flat, pockets facing up. Place each Firefly in the pockets. Ensure that the Firefly power button is facing inwards to prevent accidental power on/off. Plug the charger into a 10W power source using theprovided USB-C cable* When fully charged, a green static light will be displayed. It is best to leave the Quad Charging Mat unfolded during charging for optimal heat dissipation and charge rate.

FIREFLY CHARGING INDICATORS

The Lumos Firefly has a small LED indicator to convey different information. Please note the colours below and the corresponding message. Red LED light – Firefly is charging. Green LED light – Firefly is fully charged. Yellow LED light – Firefly has temporarily paused charging to allow it to charge within acceptable operating temperatures*.

For optimal charging, charge in ambient temperatures of <=30°C. If charging gets too hot, Firefly will temporarily stop charging to protect itself from overheating. Charging will automatically resume once it has cooled down sufficiently.

QUAD CHARGING MAT CARE TIPS

  1. The Quad Charging Mat is able to withstand the cold in winter, but please be sure to dry off any condensation before plugging it in.
  2. To clean the charger, use a damp cloth and wipe down.
  3. Please refrain from over-folding the Quad Charging Mat as it may damage the electronics.
  4. To ensure the Firefly pockets don’t get damaged, please ensure that you keep the Quad Charging Mat in a closed position when stowing it away.
