About the Product
The FIRE MIST boasts an extended dynamic range, brilliant overtones, long
sustain, quick but fat tone, and of course, the most important thing, pure and
clean overdrive sound. In order to realize all of these things, we thoroughly
investigated various electronic circuits and parts and all of the factors
related to sound such as materials and weight of the case and knobs, magnetic
fields in the circuit, etc. After a few years and many prototypes, we finally
completed the FIRE MIST. It renders edgy, traditional British Rock sound with
outstanding response represented by the golden “Plexi” panel.
FREE THE TONE’s unique HTS (Holistic Tonal Solution) circuit is implemented to
protect guitar signals from sounding thin in Bypass mode.
The LED on the unit has the function not only to show the on/off status of the
effects but also to monitor the battery voltage. If it becomes lower than
approxi-mately 6 V, the LED starts to fade. Although the unit continues to
output the effects sound, we recommend replacing the battery with a new one in
order to fully exhibit its best performance.
Precautions
Inserting or removing a plug from the input jack while the unit’s output is connected to an amplifier/speaker that is turned on can cause noise that can damage the speakers. If the unit malfunctions or behaves abnormally, cease operation immediately and refer the problem to the supplier. If the unit will not be used for an extended period of time, remove the battery to prevent damage due to chemical leakage from the battery. When the battery voltage drops too low for proper operation the effect sound may become weak, the output level may drop, or no output will be produced at all. Be sure to replace the battery as soon as possible if such symptoms occur.
