Care and Use

  • Read and understand all operating instructions before using this product. Keep this manual for future reference.
  • Exceeding the scale’s capacity or dropping items on the scale can damage the weigh-ing mechanism and/or affect the accuracy of the scale. Avoid shaking, dropping, or otherwise shocking the scale. Gently apply all items to be weighed on tray top. This is a precision instruction and must be handled with extreme care.
  • Do not use or store the scale in high temperature, high humidity or high vibration conditions. The scale works better when operated at a normal room temperature. Always allow the scale to acclimate to a normal room temperature for at least one hour before use.
  • Remove batteries from the scale when it will not be used for an extended period of time.
  • Using a mild soap solution, dampen a cloth to clean the scale. Do not use any harsh chemical cleaners. Do not wash down or immerse the scale. Any liquid inside the scale can cause permanent damage.
  • Keep your scale in a clean environment. Dust, dirt, moisture, vibration, air currents, and a close distance to other electronic equipment can all cause an adverse effect on the reliability and accuracy of your scale.
