HOW TO USE
STARTING
- Open the battery cover and insert suitable batteries. Then close the battery cover. FIG. 1
- Press the button® to start. Distance measurement mode is activated automatically at start-up. FIG. 2
CHANGING MEASUREMENT UNITS
Press and hold the M button to change between the measurement units metre (M) and yard (Y).
- The selected unit is used in distance measurement mode, scanning mode, height measurement mode and fog mode. FIG. 3
NOTE: The measurement unit must be set separately in speed measurement mode.
LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE ALARM
The battery symbol is displayed when the battery voltage is low.
MODE SELECTION
Press and hold the M button to change between distance measurement mode, height measurement mode, fog mode and speed measurement mode.
Distance measurement mode
Press the button® to start distance measurement. FIG. S
Scanning mode
In distance measurement mode, press and hold the button ®to activate scanning
mode. FIG. 6
Height measurement mode
- When the display image for height measurement mQpe is shown, press and hold the button ®to activate height measurement.
- The frame around the flag symbol on the display flashes.
- Move the measurement point on both sides of the object whose height is to be measured.
- When height measurement has been completed, the frame around the flag symbol stops flashing. FIG. 7
Fog mode
When the display image for fog mode is shown, press the button® tor distance
measurement.
Use fog mode to compensate for distortion caused by fog. FIG. 8
Speed measurement mode
In speed measurement mode, press and hold the M button to change between km/h
and miles/h.
Press the button® to start speed measurement.
