Before use

3.1 Upon delivery
Unpack your product and verify if the delivery is complete. The following items should be included:

• Cupboard (including 4 legs or 2 castors with brake and 2 without brake; with or without expandable tray)
• Instruction manual.

Verify your product for transport damage. If you find any damages after delivery, contact the transporter.

3.2 Intended use

• This cupboard is used as a tray for holding various objects (e.g. books, alarm, food, …) within your reach.
• It is not intended to support or transport goods or persons.
• The warranty on this product is based on normal use and maintenance as described in this manual. Damage to your product caused by improper use or lack of maintenance will cause the warranty to lapse.

3.3 Safety instructions
CAUTION
Risk of injury and/or damage

• Do not lean against or on the expandable tray, since the cupboard could tip over.
• Do not lift the cupboard by means of the tray.
• Do not place any objects larger than the cupboard on them.
• Do not exceed the bearing capacity of the expandable tray (10 kg).
• Do not convey persons or objects.
• The cupboard must only be set up indoors on level surfaces. When in use, check that all 4 castors / legs press evenly on the floor.
• Repair work may only be undertaken by the authorised dealer.
• Take note of the instructions for care and service. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper servicing/care.

3.4 Shipping and storage
The shipping and storage of the table should happen according to the technical specifications in §7. Make sure that the table is stored dry.
Provide sufficient covering or packaging to protect the table from rust and foreign bodies (e.g. salt water, sea air, sand, dust).

Assembly

5.1 Operating the brakes (only for cupboard with wheels)
CAUTION
Risk of injuries and/or damage
The brakes can wear. Check the working of the brakes before each use.
A: Engaging the brakes
With your foot, press the brake plate downwards till it locks in place. The wheels can now neither roll nor turn.
B: Disengaging the brakes
With your foot, press the brake plate upwards.
The wheels have now been released and can both roll and swivel.

To put the cupboard in a parking position, the two wheels must be locked in place.
5.2 Slide out / in expandable tray (if available)
CAUTION
The stability of the product is affected when the expandable tray is fold out (danger of tipping over).
Slide out
Grasp the expandable tray by the handgrip.
Pull the expandable tray backwards and afterwards pull it upwards.
Slide in
Lift the tray a little bit upwards and slide the tray in by pushing it down in the cupboard rails.

Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning
Use a soft, damp cloth and lukewarm water with a mild soap to clean the table. Avoid soaking. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents to clean.
6.2 Disinfection
CAUTION
Risk of damage
Disinfections may only be undertaken by trained persons. Consult your specialist dealer.
Use a soft, damp cloth and lukewarm water with a mild household disinfectant to clean the table.
6.3 Inspection / Service / Repairs
The expected service life of your table is 5 years. The lifespan is influenced by use, storage, maintenance, service and cleaning.
Before you resume use of the table, it shouldbe serviced according to the following criteria:

• Completeness
• Castors (stability, tracking, fixing screws)
• Fastenings: well secured (Condition,thread, holding security)
• Cupboard (deformation, stability)
• Tray (closed surfaces, splinters, tears)

Repairs and replacements may only be undertaken by trained persons, and only genuine replacement parts of Vermeiren should be used. Do not hesitate to use the services offered by your specialist dealer. He/she will be glad to assist you regarding any service and repairs.
6.4 Reuse
Before each reuse, have the table disinfected, inspected and serviced according to the instructions in §6.
6.5 Disposal at end of life
At end of life, you need to dispose of your table according to the local environmental legislation. The best way to do so, is to disassemble the table to facilitate the transport of recyclable parts.
