retrotec DM32X Digital Gauge for Blower Doors and Duct Testers
DESCRIPTION
Unpack, connect gauge
- Remove everything from the case.
- Power on the gauge, tap the screen & check the battery state. Charge if necessary.
- Setup wifi connection to get access to additional video assistance.
- Connect the applicable color-coded tubes to the gauge depending your type of test.
- Connect USB-C cable to gauge & Ethernet Cable to Fan.
Set Range on Device
Tap the Device image. Select a new Range, or tap, [Change Device].
Note: for blower door fans, ensure to configure the plugs in the exact
same pattern you see on the gauge.
Choose Desired Result
Tap [Channel BJ & choose your desired pressure or flow result to display.
Set Area & Volume
- Tap [Settings] and select [Area]. Enter the Area and tap [Set].
- Tap [Settings] and select [Volume]. Enter the Area and tap [Volume]
- Return to the main Gauge screen using the circle button in the center at the bottom of the screen.
Run a test
- Tap [Set Pressure] to target a pressure. Or, Tap [Speed] to set a speed from 0% to 100%
- Tap [Bias] to enter a Bias Pressure if desired
- Tap to “Hold”. Tap again to Release.
- Tap to change Pressure of Flow Result on Channel A c Tap to change Pressure of Flow Result on Channel B.
- Tap jogging features to increase or decrease. You can change the increments for the jog feature in [Settings].
- Tap to calculate Result exactly at(@) the “Set Pressure” f Tap to show Real Time Graphing
- Tap [STOP] to turn fan Off
Change DM32X Gauge Settings
Tap [Settings]. Settings allows you to change:
- Area: Pressure Exponent
- Volume: Default@ Pressure
- Time Averaging: Baseline Pressure
- Enclosure Units: Differential Pressure Step
- Remote Logging: Gauge Language
- Channel B mode: Fan Speed % Step
Connect Many Dm32X Gauges to a Computer
Connect multiple gauges to a computer via WiFi Hotspot, USB Tethering, or Bluetooth Swipe down from the DM32X Main Home Screen. You will see a white bar (image below); swipe down again here. Hit the “Settings” wheel icon. Select “Network & Internet.” Select Hotspot & Tethering. Make your selection between WiFi Hotspot, USB tethering, or Bluetooth tethering.
Run rCloud from the DM32X
rCloud, Retrotec’s automated residential testing software, is now embedded as an app onto the DM32X gauge. The app is found from the Main Home Screen, placed next to the Main Gauge App and the rResources App. Setup your equipment and open the rCloud app on the DM32X. Visit https://retrotec.com/rcloud.html for full information on how to use rCloud.
Run rResources from the DM32X
The rResources App is pre-installed app on the DM32X gauge. The app is found
from the Main Home Screen, placed next to the Main Gauge App and the rCloud
App.
The rResources App consists of a plethora of resources to assist with testing
applications related to the gauge. It is broken into three primary sections:
