Fuelling
WARNING: Be sure to read all fuel information and safety rules before you begin. If you do not understand the safety rules, do not attempt to fuel your unit. Contact an authorized service dealer.
WARNING: Remove fuel cap slowly when refueling.
This engine is certified to operate on unleaded petrol. Before operation, petrol must be mixed with a good quality 2-cycle air-cooled engine oil. We recommend JASO FB oil mixed at a ratio of 30ml of oil to 1lt of fuel. When mixing fuel, follow the instructions printed on the container. Always read and follow the safety rules before fueling your unit.
Important! Alcohol blended fuels can attract moisture which leads to separation and formation of acids during storage. Acidic gas can damage the fuel system of an engine while in storage. To avoid engine problems, empty the fuel system before storing for 30 days or longer. Drain the tank, start the engine and let it run until the fuel lines and carburetor are empty. Use fresh fuel next time you are using the machine. Never use engine or carburetor cleaner products in the fuel tank to avoid permanent damage.
