Safety Instructions

Important: Read the instructions carefully. Failure to comply with the instructions may damage the tool.
Use with any drill (1200rpm or higher).
This pump does not turn freely by hand. For best results, please follow these recommendations:

  1. Use a 3-prong grounded cord or double insulated drill, and follow safety precautions recommended by the drill’s manufacturer.
  2. To ensure optimum efficiency and a long-life use, it is recommended that a few drops of mineral or cooking oil be placed in the pump inlet prior to use.
  3. Make sure that the inlet line is airtight and as short as possible and must not exceed the length of the tubing.
  4. This product must only be used for pumping liquids with a temperature within 4-38°C (40-100°F) of the temperature range. The inlet and discharge hose will normally prevent the pump from rotating. When holding the pump by hand, hold loosely and do not move from side to side.
  5. When pumping abrasive fluids or liquids containing solids, you can obtain a longer pump life by using a screen or strainer on the inlet line.
  6. To prolong the pump’s life always flush with clear water after each use.
  7. Pumping thick fluid will affect performance.

WARNING: Risk of fire. Do not pump gasoline or other highly flammable liquids. Pump depends on fluid being pumped for lubrication. Don’t use this prod-uct for pumping potable/edible liquids including water.
NOTICE: Do not run dry. If the pump fails to prime in 15-20 seconds, check that inlet line is airtight, and not kinked or clogged. Electric drills are not designed to be operated continuously and should never be left to operate unattended. This act could result in causing damage to the drill and/or pump.
