IMPORTANT SAFETY CAUTION

Remove the sticker before using the bath thermometer for the first time.
WARNING: Never leave the child without adult supervion.

  • always remain in the bathroom during baby’s bath,
  • don’t reply to the phone,
  • don’t open the door if someone rings it.

If it is essential for you to leave the bathroom take your baby with you. Check that the bath water temperature is 37°C before putting the baby in the water.
WARNING: This product contains a coin battery. A coin battery can cause serious internal chemical burns if swallowed.
WARNING: Dispose of used batteries immediately. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any  part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

FONCTIONNEMENT

CAUTION: There is no ON/OFF switch, shake the product.
To switch the thermometer ON bounce the owl bath thermometer on its feet.
Then put the bath thermometer in the water. It will then show the exact temperature in degrees, and at the same time the screen tells you whether it is alright to bath the baby or not :

The water temperature is too low. Add hot water and stir the water until the thermometer indicates 37°C.

The water temperature is ideal for bathing baby. Make sure that the water temperature does not fall below 35°C.

The water temperature is too high. Add cold water and stir the water until the thermometer falls to 37°C.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

  • Store your bath thermometer in a cool and dry place and don’t expose it to direct sunlight.
  • Don’t try to open the thermometer, except to replace the battery.
  • Don’t drop the thermometer on the floor; it could be damaged irreversibly.

MAINTENANCE

  • From time to time, in order to keep your bath thermometer in the best possible condition, you can clean it with a soft damp cloth and white vinegar.

REPLACING THE BATTERY

  • Check that you have the right type of battery.
    The thermometer operates with one CR2032, 3 V battery.

  • Remove the cover from the battery compartment by moving it to the left “OPEN”

  • Replace the battery and make sure you position it correctly

  • Replace the cover and push it to the right “CLOSE”

  • Follow appropriate procedures for disposing of the worn out battery.

CAUTION
Non-rechargeable batteries must not be charged.
Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the toy for charging.
Different types of batteries, or new and used batteries should not be mixed.
Rechargeable batteries should only be charged with adult supervision.
Respect the polarity when inserting the battery.
Worn out batteries should be removed from the toy.
Supply terminals should not be short circuited.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

  • Temperature range: 0° C to 50° C.
  • Precision: ± 1°C
  • When the brightness of the digital screen starts to diminish, replace the battery.
  • Battery life: Estimated at 2 years with 30 minutes of use per day.

The thermometer is designed to work throughout the duration of the bath.
After the bath, rinse the thermometer in clean water and carefully wipe the water off the sensors under the thermometer.
The thermometer switches itself off automatically  after 60 minutes to save the battery.
