Transmitter and receiver
Battery operated
Slide down the battery cover. Insert four AAA batteries, respecting the polarity.
Replace the battery cover (d).

NOTE : For best operation, do not mix used and new batteries, or alkaline and rechargeable batteries.

USE

Transmitter

  1. Place the transmitter’s power ON/OFF switch to ON (2) for continuous mode or to VOX for voice-triggered operation.
  2. The power and low batteries (1) light will appear green. If it is flashing, this means that they are running low. Replace them with new alkaline batteries or plug the transmitter into the power socket.
  3. Select channel 1 or 2 from the channel selector (3).
  4. Place the transmitter near the child with the microphone (6) facing the child, but out of his/her reach, preferably at a distance of approximately 1 meter.
  5. As soon as the transmitter picks up the slightest sound from your child, it will switch on and the transmission indicator light (4) will appear red.
  6. When the baby stops crying, the transmitter goes back to monitor mode and the transmission indicator light (1) switches off.
  7. Activating the nightlight: Turn the nightlight switch to On (7).
When you select VOX transmission mode, the nightlight will also operate in VOX mode (it only switches on when it detects the baby’s voice).

Receiver

  1. Switch on the receiver with the switch (10).
  2. The power indicator light (8) will appear green. If it is flashing, this means the batteries are running low. Replace them with new alkaline batteries or plug the transmitter into the power socket.
  3. Select channel 1 or 2 on the channel selector (11), and make sure the same channel has been selected on the transmitter.
  4. Place the receiver at a reasonable distance from the transmitter(too close creates audio feedback, producing a larsen effect in the loud-sneaker.
  5. When it receives the signal, the transmission indicator lights up (12). The stronger the voice, the more LED lights come on. This visual alarm function can be useful when the receiver sound is minimum.
  6. The volume is set with the control (10).
