SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
EXPLANATION OF SYMBOLS ON THE PRODUCT PACKAGING/TYPE LABEL
Failure to follow the safety warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Keep all safety warnings and instructions for future reference.
- This charger is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge. This charger may only be used by children from the age of 8 upwards and persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or if they have been instructed in the safe handling of the charger and understand the dangers involved. Otherwise, there is a risk of incorrect operation and injury.
- Supervise children during use, cleaning and maintenance. This will ensure that children do not play with the charger.
- Only charge AlzaTools lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 3 or more batteries. The battery voltage must correspond to the charging voltage of the charger. Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries. Otherwise, there is a risk of fire and explosion.
- Protect the charger from rain and moisture. Water entering the charger increases the risk of electric shock.
- Keep the charger clean. Pollution causes a risk of electric shock.
- Check the charger, cable and plug before each use. If you find any faults, do not use the charger. Do not open the charger yourself and only have it repaired by qualified personnel using original spare parts. A damaged charger, cable and plug increase the risk of electric shock.
- Do not operate the charger on a flammable surface (e.g. paper, textiles, etc.) or in a flammable environment. There is a risk of fire due to the charger heating up during charging.
- Vapours may be emitted if the battery is damaged or used incorrectly. Supply fresh air and seek medical advice if you have any problems. Vapours may irritate the respiratory tract.
- Do not cover the ventilation slots of the charger. Otherwise, the charger may overheat and will not work properly

OPERATION
REMOVING AND INSERTING THE BATTERY
Press the battery lock button and slide out the battery.
Insert the charged battery into the adapter holder; it should click when the
battery locks.
OPERATION/SETTING
“IGHT TURNING ON/OFF
Activation – press the power button(3).
Deactivation – press the power button again (3).
USB ADAPTER
The USB adapter allows you to charge external devices (e.g. phone, mp3 player)
via the USB port.
Follow the device manufacturer’s instructions when charging an external
device.
ADAPTER USB PORT CHARGING
Connect the USB cable to the external device.
- Connect the USB cable to the USB port (6) in the adapter.
- Press the button to activate/deactivate the USB port (4). The USB port is activated, which is signalled by the indicator light (5) lighting up and starts charging the connected device (Fig. D).
- To deactivate the USB port (and stop charging), press the USB port activate/ deactivate button (4) again. Signal lamp (5) is off.
If the USB port is activated and no USB charging device is connected, the USB
port will automatically deactivate after approximately 60 seconds.
If the battery level is too low, charging may stop automatically (the USB port
will be deactivated).
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Remove the battery from the device before performing any related activities
such as installation, adjustment, repair, and maintenance.
It is recommended to clean the device after each use.
- Do not use water or any other liquid for cleaning.
- Clean the tool with a dry cloth.
- Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents as they can damage the plastic parts.
- Always store tools in a dry place, out of reach of children.
- Store equipment with the battery removed.
