GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR POWER TOOLS
WARNING!
All safety instructions, user manuals, images and regulations supplied with
these tools must be read. Failure to follow all of the following instructions
may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious personal injury. All
instructions and the user manual must be kept for future reference.
Safety of working environment
- The workplace must be kept clean and well lit. Untidy and dark spaces are often the cause of accidents.
- Power tools must not be used in potentially explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks that can ignite dust or fumes.
- Children and other persons must be kept away when using power tools. If the operator is disturbed, he/she may lose control of the operation.
Electrical safety
- The plug on the power tool’s flexible lead must match the power outlet. The plug must never be modified in any way. No socket adapters may be used with tools that have a protective earth connection. Plugs and respective sockets that are rendered unusable will reduce the risk of electric shock.
- The operator must not touch grounded objects, such as pipes, central heating units, cookers and refrigerators. The risk of electric shock is greater if your body is connected to the ground.
- Power tools must not be exposed to rain, moisture or wetness. If water enters the power tool, the risk of electric shock increases.
- The flexible supply must not be used for other purposes. The power tool must not be carried or pulled by the cord, nor must the plug be unplugged from the socket. The inlet must be protected from heat, grease, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or tangled leads increase the risk of electric shock.
- If the power tool is used outdoors, an extension cord suitable for outdoor use must be used. Using an extension cord for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
- If the power tool is used in a humid environment, a residual current device (RCD) must be used. Using an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
Safety of persons
- When using a power tool, the operator must be careful, pay attention to what he/she is doing, and concentrate and think clearly. Power tools must not be used if the operator is tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. Momentary inattention while using a power tool canresult in serious personal injury.
- Use personal protective equipment. Always use eye protection. Protective equipment such as a respirator, non-slip safety shoes, hard hat and hearing protection, used in accordance with the working conditions, reduces the risk of personal injury.
- Unintentional starting of the machine must be avoided. Make sure that the switch is in the off position before plugging in and/or connecting the battery pack, lifting or carrying the tool. Carrying a tool with your finger on the switch or plugging in a tool fork with the switch on can cause injury.
- All adjusting tools or wrenches must be removed before turning on the tool. An adjusting tool or wrench that remains attached to the rotating part of the power toomay result in personal injury.
- The operator must only work where he/she can safely reach. The operator must always maintain a stable posture and balance. This will allow better control of the power tool in unforeseen situations.
- Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. The operator must make sure that his/her hair and clothing are a sufficient distance away from moving parts. Loose clothing, jewellery and long hair can be caught in moving parts.
- Where equipment is provided for connecting dust extraction and collection facilities, care must be taken to ensure that it is connected and used correctly. The use of such equipment can reduce hazards caused by dust.
- The operator must not allow the routine that results from the frequent use of the tools, to cause them to become complacent and ignore the principles of tool safety. Careless activity can cause serious injuries in a split second.
Use and the maintenance of power tools
- Power tools must not be overloaded. It is essential to use the correct power tool for the work being carried out. The correct power tool will do the work it was designed to do better and safer.
- Power tools that cannot be turned on and off with the switch must not be used. Any power tool that cannot be operated with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
- Before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools, unplug the power tool and/or remove the battery pack from the power tool if it is removable. These precautions reduce the risk of accidentally starting the power tool.
- Unused power tools must be stored out of the reach of children. Persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions must not be allowed to use the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of inexperienced users.
- . Power tools and accessories must be maintained. The adjustment of moving parts and their mobility must be checked and attention focused on cracks, broken parts and any other circumstances that may jeopardize the function of the power tool. If the tool is damaged, it must be repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
- Cutting tools must be kept sharp and clean. Properly maintained and sharpened cutting tools are less likely to catch on material or jam and are easier to control.
- Power tools, accessories and tool bits etc. must be used in accordance with these instructions and in the manner intended for the particular power tool, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be carried out. Using power tools for activities other than those for which they are designed can lead to dangerous situations.
- Handles and grip surfaces must be kept dry, clean and free of grease. Slippery handles and gripping surfaces mean the tool cannot be held and controlled in unexpected situations.
Service
- Power tool repairs must be carried out by qualified personnel using identical spare parts. This will ensure the same level of safety of the power tool as before the repair.
USE AND MAINTENANCE OF CORDLESS TOOLS
- The tool must only be charged with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that may be suitable for one type of battery pack may present a fire hazard when used with another battery pack.
- The tool must only be used with a battery pack that is specifically designed for the tool. The use of any other battery pack may present a risk of injury or fire.
- When the battery set is not used, the battery pack must be protected from contact with other metal objects, such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can cause one battery contact to come into contact with another. Short-circuiting the battery terminals may cause burnsor fire.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR RECIPROCATING SAWS
- When performing operations where the cutting tool may contact hidden wiring or its own supply, the power tool must be held by insulated gripping surfaces. Contact of the cutting tool with a “live” wire can cause uninsulated metal parts of the power tool to become “live” and can result in an electric shock to the user.
- Clamps or other practical means must be used to secure and support the workpiece on a stable base. Holding the workpiece by hand or against the body leads to instability and loss of control.
NOTE:
The above instructions do not apply to garden saws for tree ventilation or
hedge trimming.

USE
INSTALLATION AND REPLACEMENT OF THE BLADE
The saw can be used to cut a variety of materials. Therefore, it is vital to choose the correct saw blade.
-
Remove the battery from the machine.
-
If it is already in place, slide off the plastic blade guard (3.1).
-
Rotate and hold the quick blade change clamp (3).
-
Insert the saw blade into the clamp (3) with the teeth facing forward.
-
Release the clamp and the blade is held in place.
Note:
Only bayonet blades can be used in the saw.
SWITCH
The switch (1) can only be pressed simultaneously with the safety catch (2) to prevent the saw from starting accidentally
- To start the saw, first hold the lock (2) and then press the switch (1).
- Always wear hearing protection when using the saw.
ATTENTION:
The saw blade moves for a few seconds after the switch is released.
Important:
The shape of the machine means it can be gripped and operated with one hand;
however, we recommend using both hands on the saw for safety reasons.
Note:
Pressure on the saw blade overloads the motor and can cause damage.
- During cutting, make sure that the base of the saw is still resting on the material being cut.
- When cutting metal, it is recommended to apply a drop of oil to the place of the future cut.
- The board material must be firmly supported so that it cannot move or spring.
- Smaller cut pieces must be fastened so that they cannot move (e.g. with clamps).
LED LIGHTING
The LED illumination (7) starts together with the machine motor when the switch is pressed and illuminates the cut.
SWINGING MOTION ADJUSTMENT
The oscillating movement of the saw blade in the cut affects the quality and speed of the cut. There are 3 selectable grades for faster and more efficient cutting across a range of possible wood and plastic materials. The rocking motion of the blade pushes the blade upwards into the cut and delays it on the return downwards so the blade does not pull on the material.
- Turn the switch (10) to set the desired blade behaviour.
- Position 1 allows only a small rocking motion, so the cut is smoother; used at low speeds.
- Position 2 provides a moderate amount of blade movement.
- Position 3 provides an aggressive fast cut with a rough edge.
SHEET SELECTION AND SETTINGS

CUTTING ANGLE ADJUSTMENT
For bevel cutting, the cutting angle can be set on both sides up to 45°.
-
Use the enclosed Allen key (14) to loosen the two 3 mm Allen screws (13).
-
Slide the saw base (9) back to release it from its current position.
Note:
If using the side guide (8) at the same time, it must be removed beforehand. -
- Tilt the base of the saw to the required angle (± 15 °, ± 30 °, ± 45 °).
-
Slide the base (9) forward to lock it in place.
-
Tighten the locking screws (13).
SIDE GUIDE
If the material is to be cut straight, use a side guide to make the cut easier.
- Insert the side guide through the holes in the base.
- Secure them with the guide adjustment screws (8).
Make a test cut on the rest of the material and adjust the guide more accurately if necessary.
Note:
When not in use, tighten the guide adjustment screws (8) to prevent shock.
DUST EXTRACTION
Inhaling cutting dust can adversely affect your health. Therefore connect a suitable extractor (vacuum cleaner) to the outlet (12) of the machine.
Note:
A tube diameter adapter may be required for connection.
When using a dust extraction saw, move the switch (11) to the forward position. This opens the channel, dust is extracted from the saw blade area and the drawn cutting position remains visible. If you must use the saw without extraction, slide the switch (11) to the rearmost position, which switches the cooling air from the motor to blow dust out of the blade area so the drawing is visible again.
Warning:
All wood dust (including laminate dust, plastics dust, etc.) poses a health
risk to the respiratory system, eyesight and skin. For example, MDF boards
contain formaldehyde, which is a proven carcinogen. In addition to the above
measures, we recommend the use of a suitable face mask according to the scope
of work. A respirator of at least FFP2 is required against fine wood dust.
GENERAL NOTES
- Always wear safety goggles.
Note:
When using a longer blade to cut thin material, lateral pressure on the saw
can cause the blade to bend and cut at an angle. Therefore, hold the blade
vertically to maintain a rectangular cut.
ATTENTION:
Make sure that the end of the blade under the cut surface does not hit any
obstacles. There would be an uneven cut and recoil.
MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING
MAINTENANCE
Regular inspections and cleaning of the machine reduce the need for service
and keep the machine in good condition.
The motor must be sufficiently cooled during cutting. Keep the air vents clean
and regularly dusted.
