WARNINGS:

To prevent early lamp failure, lamp should only be installed in operating environments ranging between-30’C and +40’C -22°F and+104°F).
No user serviceable parts inside. To avoid electrical shock do not disassemble product.
Risk of fire or electric shock, LED Retrofit Kit installation requires knowledge of luminaires electrical systems. If not qualified, do not attempt installation. Contact a qualified electrician.
Risk of fire or electric shock, Install this kit only in luminaires that have the construction features and min dimensions shown in below and where the input rating of the retrofit kit doed not exceed the input rating of the luminaire.
Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during kit installation
To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects.
Installers should not disconnect existing wires from lampholder terminals to make new connections at lampholder terminals, Instead installers should cut existing lampholder leads away from the lampholder and make new electrical connections to lampholder lead wires by employing applicable connectors.
This retroft kit is accepted as a component of a luminaire where the suitability of the combination shal be determined by authorities having jurisdiction.
This device is not intended for use with emergency exits.
This retrofit kits suitable for wet locations luminaires specified as below: Type Non IC; Type IC; Covered ceiling; Uncovered ceiling.
Installers should examine all parts that are not intended to be replaced by the retrofit kit for damage and replace any damaged parts prior to installation of the retrofit kit.

J-box Min Volume – 12.56 in3 , Min Length: 3.2in, Height: 1.57in Compatible with standard J-box

Installation with Existing Housing
Min lamp compartment dimensions – Dia: 4in, Height: 3.54in Compatible with most common 4in, 5in, 6in and 8in recessed housings

INSTALLATION WITH J-BOX

Make sure power is turned off and the J-Box fixed on the ceiling surface.
Lock the bracket on existing J-Box with both screws.
Note : Screw spacing range is 2-5/8″ to 4-3/4″
Make sure live (black) and neutral (white) wires, ground (green) wire are accessible from J-Box. Wire nut live (black) wire with Disk Light black wire and wire nut neutral (white) wire with Disk Light white wire. Wire nut ground (green) with Disk Light ground (green) wire.
Select desired color temperature. Caretully tuck wires inside J-Box, align springs with bracket center and push Disk Light up, inside J-Box until flush to the ceiling surface.

INSTALLATION WITH EXISTING HOUSING

Make sure the power is turned on at the SOurce tO the recessed housing(S) that you are installing Disk Light(s) in. Remove existing trim and CFL, or incandescent bulbs. Remove existing mounting plate from the recessed housing (if any) and then remove lamp socket from the plate
When applied to the 4 “/5″76’/8 “housing, lock the friction clips at the scale position of 4″/57678” on the disk heatsink accordingly. Measure housing internal diameter and adjust spring clip position in order to achieve a tight hit inside the housing. Select your favorite color temperature. NOTE : MOUNTING SPRING CLIPS INCORRECTLY AT POSITIONS LARGER THAN INTERNAL DIAMETER OF THE HOUSING MIGHT CAUSE BREAKAGE OF THE SPRING CLIPS DURING INSTALLATION
Screw E26 base adapter into socket in recessed housing
Secure fixture ground (green) wire to the recessed housing
Guide the Disk Light into the housing for a tight fit.
Push the Disk Light up flush to ceiling surface.
