WARNINGS

  • Risk of electric shock – Disconnect power at the source before installation.
  • If you are unsure about the installation or the maintenance of the wall light, please consult an electrician.
  • Do not make or alter any holes in the wiring enclosure or modify any electrical componentry.

CAUTIONS

  • To insure personal safety, proper grounding of the electrical fixture is required.
  • The fixture must be wired in accordance with the National Electric Code and applicable local codes or ordinances.

WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Ensure power has been switched off before starting installation.

  2. If you are replacing an exisitng fixture, remove and disconnect the old fixture first.

  3. Expose the supply wires from the junction box.

  4. Position the supply wires with the white supply wire (neutral) on one side of the outlet box and the black supply wire (hot) on the other side.

  5. Attach the mounting bracket to the junction box by allowing the junction box screws to pass through the large slots in the mounting bracket.

  6. Connect the junction box ground wire (green or bare copper) to the mounting bracket with the green hex-head ground screw by screwing it into the tapped hole in the mounting bracket marked “GND”.

  7. Connect the fixture ground wire (yellow with green stripe) to the junction box ground wire (green or bare copper) by using a wire connector.

  8. Connect the white wire (neutral) from the fixture assembly to the white supply wire (neutral) from the junction box using a wire connector.

  9. Connect the black wire (hot) from the fixture assembly to the black supply wire (hot) from the junction box using a wire connector.

Note: Strip 1-1/2″ of insulation from the junction box ground wire (if insulated).  Allow the stripped end to extend an extra 1″ from the ground screw to allow a connection to the fixture ground wire using a wire connector.

FIXTURE MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

  1.  After all connections are secure, carefully tuck the wires into the junction box. No loose strands or loose connections should be present.

  2. Attach the fixture mounting plate to the fixture mounting screws on the mounting bracket. Make sure no wires are pinched or exposed. Tighten the cap screws or ball nuts to hold the fixture securly in place.

  3. To prevent moisture from entering the junction box and the fixtures mounting plate causing a short, apply a bead of clear caulk to outline the outside of the fixtures mounting plate where it meets the wall. Leave a small space at the bottom to allow any condensation or moisture to escape.

  4. Select the desired CCT by moving the selector switch at the bottom of the fixture shown to the right and choose from Soft White, Bright White, or Daylight.

  5. The installation is now complete. Restore the electricity and check the operation of your lighting fixture.

3 YEAR WARRANTY

Maxxima extends a 3 year limited warranty to the original purchase that the products listed are free from defects in material and/or workmanship only. Maxxima will replace any warrantied product to the original consumer/purchaser if the product fails because of defects
