Switch blade opening: continue to press the trigger, one buzz means the blade will open to small- 30mm. continue press the trigger, two buzzes means the blades will open to big 45 mm. Blade closure: continue to press the trigger, a continual buzz means the blade will stay closed. Switch off the buzzer sound: Press the trigger and let it buzz for 3 times, the buzzer sound will turn off.
  5. Before operation, in order to see if the pruner functions well, please press the trigger to close and release the trigger to open the blades without cutting anything. Repeat this for a few times.

Failure tips

Buzzer Sound Frequency Times Failure Solution Method
1 Battery capacity failure Check if battery capacity is low
2 Communication failure Check if every part of cable connector is loose
3 Blade failure Oil on blade
4 Motor phase loss Send it to local dealer for maintenance
5 Motor phase line short-circuit Check if cable or head of the connector has

short —circuit caused
6| Control Housing failure| Send it to local dealer for maintenance

Packing up

  1. Press the trigger and hold for a few seconds and then release, the blade will close and will not open.
  2. Switch off the battery, disconnect the power cord from battery.
  3. Tidy up, clean up and pack the pruner into the tool box.

Battery Charging (Picture 2)
It is recommended to charge new battery before the first use of the electric pruning shear. To charge the battery, ensure the battery power switch is in OFF  position. Plug the battery charger output into the battery charging jack then plug the charger into a power socket. The LED indicator on the battery will turn RED during charging and turn GREEN when the battery is fully charged.

Oil on the lead screw nut (Picture 3)
Please oil on the lead screw nut after pruning shear is on working 7 days or shear force is reduced significantly

Cautions

  1. Before charging, please ensure battery power switch is in OFF position. During charging, it is normal for the charger and battery to be warm.
  2. If the battery is not use for a long period of time, it recommended to charge the battery once every 3 months, this is to ensure the battery life is not affected by low usage.
  3. For new battery or battery unused for a long time, it will need about 5 charge-discharge cycles before achieving full capacity.
  4. Do not recharge a fully charged battery just after a few minutes of usage, this will reduce the battery lifespan and efficiency.
  5. Do not use a damaged battery and do not disassemble the charger  or battery.
  6. Do not place battery near high temperature heat source, the battery will explode in fire or long exposure to high temperature heat source.
  7. Do not charge the battery in outdoor or humid environment.
  8. It is normal for the pruning shear to reduce cutting diameter when the battery capacity is getting low.
  9. Do not use the pruning shear during charging. It must be disconnected from the battery during charging.
  10. Do not store the battery in a humid environment.

Blade replacement (Picture 4)

When the moving blade no longer crosses the fixed blade throughout its length, or when the power pruner could no longer have a clean cut after grinding, blade replacement is recommended with the following steps:

  1. For safety, before replacing the blade, please ensure the prun
  2. Refer to the diagrams below on the procedure to replace the blade.
  3. Clean up the blade after replacing, connect to power cable to battery, power ON to test the blade, close up the blade to complete the whole procedure.
  • Fixed and movable blades can be replaced individually; do not worry about the size of the replacement blade aperture, the opening will automatically return to normal size during power ON after completing blade replacement.

Operation Precautions
Usage and Care for Pruning Shear

  1. Do not cut branches beyond the specified diameter indicated, do  not cut hard items such as metals, stone or any other non-plant materials. If the blades are worn or damaged, please replace the blades.
  2. Keep the pruning shear clean, use a clean cloth to clean the pruning shear, battery and charger (do not use any abrasive or solvent-based cleaning agent), use a soft brush or a dry to clean the dust off the pruning shear head.
  3. Do not immerse the pruning shear, battery or charger in any liquid.
  4. Follow instructions as given for proper use of the pruning shear, do not use the pruning shear when the tool itself, battery or charger is damaged.
  5. Do not use the pruning shear if it could not operate or shut down properly, send for servicing immediately. It is dangerous to use the pruning shear when the tool could not operate or shut down properly.
  6. Please ensure the power pruner is powered OFF during any adjustment, changing accessories or storage. This protective measure aims to reduce the risk of accidental pruning shear activation.
  7. Please ensure the blades are closed when not in use, storage of the pruning shear must keep out of reach from CHILDREN, do not allow any person who is not familiar with the pruner operation or instruction to use the pruning shear, it is dangerous to use the pruning shear without proper training and understanding.
  8. The use of the pruning shear must comply with instructions stated in this manual and methods of use as well as taking in considerations of the working environment and nature of work undertaken. The use of the pruning shear not within its stated capability and specifications is dangerous.
  9. Remove all dirt from the moving and fixed blades after each use, thereafter apply lubricant on the blade side where both moving and fixed blade contact. This will ensure the blades are maintained in good conditions and reduce resistance during use prolonging the pruner and blade  lifespan.

Usage and Care for Battery

  1. Do not charge battery with ambient temperature below 32°F (0°C) or above 113°F (45 °C).
  2. Please ensure the battery is switched off before connecting the power cord to the battery.
  3. Only use battery charger as supplied together with the pruning shear; the use of any other charger not matching to the charging specification of the battery may cause fire.
  4. Items such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or any other conductive items must be keep away from battery when not in use.
  5. Do not disassemble the battery.
  6. Do not short-circuit the battery.
  7. Do not use the battery beside heat source.
  8. Do not put the battery in fire or in water.
  9. Do not charge the battery near fire or under direct sunlight
  10. Do not insert nail into the battery, hammer the battery, stomp the battery, throw the battery or any other form of shocks to the battery.
  11. Do not use battery that is damaged or deformed.
  12. Do not perform soldering or welding on the battery.
  13. Do not reverse direction of charging battery, reverse polarity of connections or excessive discharge of battery.
  14. Do not connect the battery to charging outlets or car cigarette lighter socket.
  15. Do not use the battery on equipment other than the designated pruning shear.
