IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE POWER CORD
Never leave the power cord hanging from the kitchen counter or table, protect
it from contact with hot surfaces and do not leave it tangled, pinched or
compressed. The length of the power cord reduces the risk of entanglement or
tripping over the power cord. In order to reduce the risk of electric shock,
do not attempt to modify the cord connector or cord in any way.
DO NOT USE THIS APPLIANCE WITH AN EXTENSION LEAD. Connect the power cord directly to a grounded 230 V socket only.
WARNING! To avoid electric shock, NEVER COOK WITHOUT THE INTERNAL CERAMIC COOKING POT!
⚠ CAUTION, HOT SURFACE!
- Vertical leakage of hot steam may occur during cooking and when the top lid is opened. The casing, pot and metal parts of the appliance get hot during operation! Be careful!
- Do not place the appliance on a flammable surface. Some kitchen counter and table surfaces are not designed to withstand prolonged exposure to the high temperatures generated during use of the appliance. Do not use the appliance near or on surfaces which are sensitive to heat or which may be damaged by steam.
- The temperature of accessible surfaces may be higher while the appliance is in operation. Do not touch the heated surface to avoid being burnt.
- Caution, the glass lid can get very hot, always wear gloves when removing the lid.
- To avoid being scalded by escaping steam when lifting the glass lid, always lift it carefully away from yourself. Dripping water must never drip into the inside of the appliance.
- Do not move the appliance when hot. Hot food, oil or other liquids can cause burns.

First, select the cooking mode “HIGH” (High temperature) or “LOW” (Low temperature) and set the desired cooking time. Hold down the “SELECT” button within 3 seconds and the indicator of the selected cooking mode will start flashing. Set the desired delay time with the “+” button (e.g. you set the cooking time to 8:00 and 2:00 will be delayed start, so you will see the time 10:00) this will be added to the cooking time, the slow cooker will start the Delayed countdown after 3 seconds start and the light will keep flashing. After the delay time has elapsed, the self-countdown of the cooking time will start and the indicator light will be on continuously. If you do not manage to set the Delayed start and the slow cooker starts cooking, turn it off and set it again.
