Power/Charging

Charging the charging case:

Connect the accessory USB charging cable(C) connector to the USB port on the charging case and connect the USB(A) connector to an electrical appliance or adapter with the same shape of connector and the internal battery within the charging case will begin to charge. While charging, the LED Indicator of the charging case will light up in different patterns depending on the battery power level of the charging case as shown in the table below.final-ZE8000

Charging the earphones:

Returning the earphone units back to the adequately charged charging case, the power of the earphones will be turned OFF automatically and start charging with the LED Indicator of earphone units light up Red. Turning ON the Earphones

After opening the charging case by sliding up the lid, the LED Indicator of the earphones will light up Blue for 1 second and the power of the earphone units will automatically turn ON. Meanwhile the LED Indicator of the charging case will light up in different patterns for 3 seconds depending on the battery level of the charging case as shown in the table below.

  • If the LED Indicator of the charging case does not light up after opening the charging case, the battery of the charging case might have been completely depleted. In such case, the earphone units will not turn ON when the case is opened.   • While the earphones are paired to a device with the dedicated “final CONNECT” application installed, the battery level of the earphones can be checked with the mobile app. Please refer to P. 9 for details regarding “final CONNECT”

Turning OFF the Earphones

In such case, earphone units will not turn OFF automatically. Performing Device Pairing

To connect the earphones to your smartphone or other devices initially, it is necessary to perform device pairing. For devices which have been performed with the device pairing, the Bluetooth connection will automatically be established the next time the power is switched ON if they are in close distance.final-ZE8000-True-Wireless-Hi-Fi-Earphones-FIG-

Performing initial device pairing:

  1. When the case is opened by sliding up the lid, the power of the earphone units will automatically switch ON with the LED Indicator of the earphones lights up Blue for 1 second. Then, they will automatically switch to the pairing mode with the LED Indicator on one of the earphones flashes between Blue and Red.
  2. Switch ON the Bluetooth connection of the smartphone or other devices and select [ZEB000] which is shown under the pairable device list. When [ZEB000 Connected•1] appears on the display, device pairing is completed.

Unpairing current device and performing new device pairing with another device:

  1. Open the charging case by sliding up the lid. With the earphone units properly returned to the adequately charged charging case, press the Pairing Button of the charging case twice and the earphone will switch to the pairing mode with the LED Indicator on one of the earphones flashes between Blue and Red.
  2. Switch ON the Bluetooth connection of the smartphone or other devices and select [ZEB000] which is shown under the pairable device list. When [ZEB000 Connected 1] appears on the display, the new device pairing is completed.

Operation of Touch Control Panel

If you perform the touch control right after the start of a track, you will return to the previous track. If you perform the touch control in the middle of a track, you will return to the beginning of thecurrent track. In order to return to the previous track while you are currently in the middle of a track, please perform the touch-control twice in succession.

About Single Bud Use Mode

This earphone supports single bud use. Once the earphones are being paired to a device, Single Bud Use Mode is automatically activated when only 1 side of the earphones is on use with another side being kept inside the charging case. When used in Single Bud Use Mode, touch sensor operation differs from normal operation, as shown in the table below.

Performing Factory Reset

When there is trouble to achieve a successful pairing or unexpected error has occurred, please perform the factory reset by the following procedures stated below. Once the factory reset is completed, please attempt another pairing operation.

  1. Return the left and right earphone units back to an adequately charged charging case then push and hold the Pairing Button of the charging case for 7 seconds until the LED Indicator of both earphone units light up in Purple.
  2. After a certain amount of time, the earphones will automatically switch to the device pairing mode with the LED Indicator on one of the earphones flashes between Blue and Red. The factory reset has been completed.
  3. The earphones are now in the factory default state with all previous pairing information with the smartphone or other devices deleted. Please remove the previous pairing record on the smartphone or other devices then perform device pairing again.

About Noise Canceling/ Ambient Sound Mode

By interacting with the touch control panel (P.7) or by using the “final CONNECT” application, users can easily switch between the 4 modes below for the best experiences.

  • Noise Canceling Mode – Offers a virtual stress-free quiet environment for your best music listening experience by reducing ambient noise.
  • Wind-Cut Mode – Reduces environmental wind noise picked up by the microphones of the earphones.
  • Ambient Sound Mode – Allows users to hear both music and the ambient sounds seamlessly at the same time.
  • Voice Through Mode – Allows users to focus on the ambient sounds or conversation by minimizing the volume of the music.

What Is the “final CONNECT” Application?

“final CONNECT” application is a dedicated mobile app designed for ZEB000. Please download it onto the smartphone paired to the ZEB000 to unlock the following features.

About Ear Tips

If you find that the bass is lacking or the treble is grating, the ear tips may not be properly fitted. In order to make enough of earphone’s potential, make sure the ear tips are positioned properly and keep the ear canals sealed. Please try the following instructions for proper fitting.

  • Not only the standard M size.but also try different sizes.
  • Trying larger size (M, L, LL) might be effective for small ears.
  • The size of ear canals might be different from left to right, so try different size ear tips for left and right ear canals.

  • The size is marked on the inside of the ear tips, so be sure to check the size when replacing the ear tips.
  • Check that the ear tip is correctly hanging on the edge of the earphone body.*1
  • Check that the aperture of the ear tip is properly alligned with the aperture at the base of the nozzle in the main body of the earphone.*2
  • If ear tips other than the dedicated ones are used, they may come off and remain in the ear canal during use. Please be sure to use the dedicated ear tips.

  • If you find that liquid is leaking from the earphones or charging case, or if there is an unusual odor or overheat, do not touch the liquid and stop using the earphones immediately. Besides that, move all combustible materials nearby away from the earphones or charging case.

WARNING
Fire, electric shock, overheat, ignition may cause burn or serious injury.

  • Do not use the product while driving a car, motorcycle, bicycle, etc.
  • Doing so may cause a traffic accident.
  • Do not use the product in places where it would be dangerous if the surroundin9 sound is not audible such as railroad crossings, pedestrian crossings, station platforms, etc. Listening at high volume makes it difficult to hear surrounding sounds. The product is equipped with noise cancellation, it is difficult to hear warning tones and other sounds, which may cause accidents or injuries.
  • Do not allow water or foreign matter to get inside the charging case. The charging case is not waterproof. Water or foreign matter may cause fire or electric shock.
  • If water or foreign matter should enter the charging case, stop using it immediately.
  • Regularly check and ensure that no foreign matter adheres to the terminals of the charging case as it may cause overheating or fire.
  • Do not charge the charging case while it is covered by bedding or other covering
  • The heat buildup may cause abnormal Overheating, which may result in a fire.

  • Keep out of reach of children or persons requiring supervision.
  • The product uses magnets and batteries. Swallowing small parts may cause serious symptoms such as choking hazard or internal organ damage.
  • Do not use in medical institutions or around people using medical equipment.
  • It may cause malfuntion to medical devices such as pacemakers.
  • When using the earphones on board an aircraft, follow the instructions of the flightcrew. Radio wave effects may cause an accident.
  • Ear tips must be securely attached.
  • If the ear tips are not securely attached, they may come off and remain in the ear canal during use.
  • Do not listen at high volume for long periods of time.
  • Prolonged use at excessive volume may result in permanent hearing loss. Do not exceed 40 hours/week at 80 dB (A) and 5 hours/week at 89 dB (A).

Maintenance

Please take safety precautions and gently remove any build-up from the dust filter by using a cotton swab.
If the build-up cannot be removed, kindly replace the filters on both sides with new dust filters. For details on how to replace the dust filters, please refer to the “How to Replace Dust Filter” extra sheet which can be found together with the supplied dust filter in the accessories.

Warranty and After-Service-

The warranty for this product is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, we will repair the product based on the provisions below. The warranty is only valid in the country in which the product was purchased.
