Does this product actually work? I’ve seen way too many scams in fans.
The controller chargers work for me and it holds the PS5 fine and sturdy with the included screw, but the fan doesn’t do anything. They say it has two fans, but I opened it up and it has one tiny baby fan that doesn’t have enough power to do anything. I didn’t buy this for the fan though, I mainly got it for the chargers.
Can the fans of this system be turned off separately of the rest of the functions? Only the fans.
Yes, there’s an individual switch for the fans, you can turn it on/off separately .
Will ps5 controllers with grips fit in charging station?
The controllers don’t fit properly in the charging station. They wobble back and forth and never really connect properly. This product is trash. I made the mistake of buying it and had to go through the trouble of returning it when it should’ve just been thrown away.
Air intake for the ps5 comes from the top. Not the bottom, so what is this stand cooling?
While the intake is irrelevant because the stand is designed to suck hot air out instead of pushing cool air in, it is true that the fan doesn’t do anything because the PS5s exhaust isn’t on the bottom.
if I don’t want to use the usb ports of the ps5, can I connect it to an “external power supply source”
I didn’t realize they had a backwards design of using the 2 best (and only) high speed data transferring ports on the whole console and I used a usb bank to power it. Since I have 2 external hard drives I use for the ps5 I needed both ports. And the cooling fans AND charge port all worked just fine!
what is the rev speed for the cooling fans?
the charging is fast and you will be ready to go in about 30 minutes I have a video but the Amazon app is not working well so.
Can I use an external hdd with this?
Yes you can. Use the type C in front of the ps5 to connect external hard drive. If you don’t have type C on your external hard drive buy an adapter. I bought one and it worked well.
Does the ps5 cooling station work well?
Because the PS5s exhaust isn’t on the bottom it’s not possible for the fans to suck the hot air out of the system. So as a cooling station it wouldn’t work at all, but as a multipurpose stand it works, however it uses up the only 2 high speed USB ports in the system just to power it.
Is there a way to keep the fans off ? They turn on every time I put my system into rest mode and every time I turn on the ps5
