KEY INFORMATION & SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
The Fieryred tailgate gas struts are designed for MitsubishiTriton 2015-2020
ONLY.
It is highly advisable to consult a qualified expert or someone who is
experienced in changing gas struts if possible.
The Fieryred gas struts are maintenance free, DO NOTgrease or lubricate shaft.
DO NOTtry to open or drill into a gas strut, because it is filled with oil and
high pressure gas.
For your safety, gas struts should always be replaced in pairs.
Check the fitting points on the body of the vehicle and repair or replace them
if they are damaged.
This gas strut’s elevating abilities deteriorate progressively as temperatures
get colder

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Remove the lower bolt from the door strike with a 12mm socket

Place the nut inside the tailgate by using the wire to guide it.

Hold the wire with one hand and attach the lower bracket with the washer and screw supplied.

Fit the lower bolt hole of the door strike bracket (removed in step 6)

Attach the cable to the other end by using the shoulder bolt provided, and ensure the washer goes on first.

Repeat the procedure on the passenger side for the up strut, and remove the spacer once installed.
WARRANTY
Fieryred warrants that each of its tailgate gas strut that is purchased while
this Warranty is in effect will be free from defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of 1Year from the date of receiving the product from
Fieryred or its authorized distributor/dealer. If it is believable to be
defective during the 1-Year Warranty Period, Fieryred will, at its option,
repair it, replace it with the same or similar product or will issue a refund
for the defective Fieryred product.And Fieryred will pay for the cost of
shipping or transportation of a defective component.This warranty terminates
if a purchaser transfers the product to any other person.And please retain
your purchase receipt for your records. Please ensure that the Fieryred gas
strut should be fit in accordance with the key information and safety
recommendations listed in the user manual, and should be used for the purpose
for which it was designed.
Any and all warranty coverage does not cover: normal wear and tear, incorrect
fitting, unauthorized modifications, damages caused by incorrect mounting or
incorrect use, damages caused by an accident, damages as a result of failure
to follow information in the user manual, improper or negligent use or misuse,
using the Fieryred gas struts other than for the purpose for which it was
originally designed, failure to follow relevant vehicle safety and compliance
laws, improper repair, abuse, acts of nature, terrorism, vandalism, collision,
road hazards or adverse conditions.
