This Bicycle Audio and Lighting Kit uses a 32-bit ARM processor for peak
performance, and integrates Bluetooth, flashlight, power bank, music player, bicycle
bell, and cell phone holder functionality all into one compact package.

Before using the product, please read this manual carefully to avoid unnecessary
troubles. Please keep the manual for future reference.

Basic operations

Powering on and off

  • Move the power switch right to the “ON” position to power on; move left to the “OFF” position to power off.
  • When the unit is turned on, it defaults to Bluetooth mode, and will audibly prompt the user, “Please connect your audio device”.

Charging devices and playing music through USB

  • Cell phones can be charged through the USB port. Just connect the USB end of the charging cable to the USB port.
  • Plug a USB flash drive with music files into the USB port. Mp3, WMA and WAV files are supported. The unit will begin playing the first track.

Recharging the battery and connecting the bell through micro USB

  • The unit’s built-in battery can be charged through the micro USB interface, whether the unit is powered on or off. During charging, the 4 battery status LEDs will flash. The LEDs will stop flashing once the battery is fully charged.
  • All functionality is available while the device is charging. To switch the unit off, toggle the ON/OFF switch.
  • The external bell can be connected through the micro USB interface. Press the
    button to ring the bell; hold the button in the depressed position for a continuous ring. The unit must be on for the bell to function

Playing music through SD

  • Insert a MicroSD card into the slot until it snaps into place. Use the mode button to switch to SD playback mode. Mp3, WMA and WAV files are supported.
  • To eject the Micro SD card, gently depress the card until you feel the card bounce out of the slot.

Controlling volume and music play order

CH/VOL BUTTONS: Switching between tracks, raising and lowering volume
While in Bluetooth, USB, or SD mode:

  • Press the button to skip to next track. Press and hold the button to raise the volume. The unit will beep when the maximum volume level is reached.
  • Press the button to return to the previous track. Press and hold the button to lower the volume.

AUX Mode

To connect an audio source through AUX mode, use a 3.5mm AUX cable.

Using the microphone for Bluetooth calls

The microphone is located under the removable waterproof cover next to the micro USB slot. THE REMOVABLE COVER MUST BE OPEN FOR THE MICROPHONE TO FUNCTION PROPERLY. During a call, speak in the direction of the unit, and the microphone should pick up your voice.

Basic operations

Bluetooth pairing

  • Select Bluetooth mode.

  • Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, and scan for devices. Connect to the
    Bluetooth device with the name ZTB-F01 to pair your smartphone.

  • The default pairing password is 0000. When pairing is successful, the unit
    announces,”your device is connected”; then, open the music player on the cell
    phone to play music or make calls via Bluetooth.
    Note: Certain phones may not require you to enter a password to complete the pairing process.

  • When the unit is turned on, it is immediately available to pair. When it successfully pairs with a device, it switches to Bluetooth mode automatically.

  • The unit announces, “your device is disconnected”, whenever a Bluetooth
    connection is ended.

Function Buttons: LED, Phone, and Mode

LED

  • Press once to turn on a continuous LED flashlight, press again to activate a flashing LED flashlight, and press a third time to turn off the LED flashlight. NOTE: Answering Bluetooth calls will not change the LED mode.

Phone

  • When the phone is paired with the device via Bluetooth, press the mode button once to answer calls. During a call, press the mode button once to end the call. When the phone is paired with the device via Bluetooth, you can select the unit as an audio output source for any audio, from apps, videos, or music.

Switching between modes

  • Press and hold the mode button to toggle between Bluetooth, USB, SD, and AUX modes. When any device is unavailable, the corresponding mode will be skipped. For example, if no SD card is detected, the unit will skip over SD mode.

Attaching the phone holder

  • Make sure that the unit is powered off. Firmly hold the unit in one hand.
  • Hold the mount with your other hand. Clamp the mount onto the unit as shown below, and then rotate the mount counter-clockwise, as shown below, until you hear a click.

Using the cell phone holder

Stretch the clamping arms to adjust to the size of your phone. The width is adjustable in the range of 50-86mm. The clamp will hold most popular smartphones.

Mounting

Attaching to your bike

Before mounting, read and understand all the steps

  • Make sure that the bicycle is on hard and firm ground.

  • Ensure that there is enough unobstructed space on your handlebars to mount the holder.

  • Remove the screws from the mounting clamp. Slide the non-slip rubber into the clamp. The rubber will sit between the clamp and the handlebars.

  • Mount the holder on the handlebar, and re-tighten the screws to secure the unit.

  • Sit on the bicycle, and adjust the speakerson the unit to an appropriate position.
    Note: The unit should be mounted with the LEDs facing forward and the speakers nearest the rider.

  • Fully turn the handlebar left and right, to make sure that the unit is properly secured, and does not interfere with other bike equipment.

Charging Tips

First-time charging of the unit will take six hours. Subsequent charges will take five
hours. The battery life of a fully charged unit is about 30 hours.
To prolong the life of the battery, please charge at least once every month.
