Operating Instructions
The Advanced High Efficiency Filter is designed for commercial use Lossnay
ventilators to collect small particles present in outdoor air supplied into
the room. It can also replace with one already mounted in Lossnay unit. This
filter collects approximately 95% of particles larger than 2.0 μm (0.002 mm)
present in outside air by particle counting methods.
■For applicable models and quantities required, refer to the separate delivery
specifications, products brochure, etc.
■Please read through these instructions in order to familiarize yourself with
the proper and safe procedures for operating the Lossnay. After reading this
manual, keep it in an easily accessible and safe place for future reference.
Collection efficiency value is based on performance test of the filter (JIS B 9908). It is different from the performance of actual unit.
Safety precautions
The following symbols denote the danger and its degree that may result from incorrect use.
WARNING Denotes misuse that could cause serious injury or death.
Prohibited ● Always turn off the Lossnay ventilator before installing or
replacing the filter.
Failure to heed this warning may result in electric shock or injury.
CAUTION Denotes misuse that could cause injury or damage to properties.
Important
● Wear gloves when installing the filter.
Otherwise, edges may cause injury.

Replacing (Installation)
Opening the maintenance cover may vary depending on the model. Refer to the instruction manual of Lossnay for more information.

Locate and remove the cover fixing screw. Pull back the hinge, open the Maintenance cover and lift off the hinge bracket.
Caution: The Maintenance cover must be removed. -
Remove the Advanced high efficiency filter(s) from the upper right side of the Lossnay core(s) in the case that Lossnay unit is installed standard.
Note
●When Lossnay unit is reversed installation, Advanced high efficiency filter(s) position is lower left side. -
Fill the installation date in the date entry sticker pasted on the new Advanced high efficiency filter. It is useful as a guide to determine the next replacing time required.

Push to engage the two guides of the new Advanced high efficiency filter with the frame of the Lossnay core so that the frame gets caught between them; an arrow indicated on the filter should face against the Lossnay core as shown in the figure.
●Use a Velcro fastener(s) to tie up two filters. Hold the filters up to push onto the frame in the same way as above. (For PZ-25 to 100RFP-E)
Note
●When replacing an Advanced high efficiency filter, always clean (or replace) the air filter(s) built in the Lossnay ventilator. -
Install the maintenance cover by reversing the removal sequence shown in (1). The cover should be in the correct direction such that its nameplate is legible.
Note
●Advanced high efficiency filters should be replaced with new ones every 3,000
hours (approx. annually) as a guide, although they may be foul with varied
period of time.
