FRONT FENDER QUICK START **

How to correctly install your front fender
STEP 1: REMOVE HEADLIGHT
a. Set your front fender between the front wheel and the front fork with
the mounting tab parallel to the handlebar stem.
b. Remove the headlight using a 5mm Allen wrench on the front bolt and a 10mm
Allen wrench on the back bolt.
STEP 2: MOUNT FENDER
a. Place the fender tab behind the headlight mount and reattach the light
to secure the fender and headlight onto the front fork.
When mounting the fender, lift the fender off of the wheel as you tighten the
bolts.
STEP 3: SECURE FENDER
a. Attach the fender stay using 4mm bolts to the tabs on the bike frame.
The fender stay is malleable and may need to be adjusted to fit perfectly to
the frame.
REAR FENDER QUICK START
How to correctly install your rear fender
STEP 1: REMOVE REAR WHEEL
a. On each side of the rear wheel, unscrew the chain fasteners with a 10mm
wrench and remove the rectangle washers.
b. Use an 18mm wrench to remove the axle nuts.
c. On the driveside, follow the motor cable and cut the zip tie then, pull
apart the quick plug to unplug the hub motor. d. On the non-driveside of the
wheel, remove the brake caliper with a 5mm Allen key. Unscrew the the two
mounting bolts on the brake caliper and allow it to hang to the side.
e. The wheel can now be removed from the frame. As you remove the wheel,
remove the chain from the driveside crank and the freewheel.
STEP 2: ATTACH FENDER TO FRAME
a. Attach the fender to the frame using a 4mm Allen wrench. Bolt the fender to
the the insertion point below the taillight bracket.
STEP 3: MOUNT REAR WHEEL
a. Position the wheel back into the frame of the bike. With the chain already
on the chainring, reach it around the freewheel.
b. To secure the wheel, affix the chain fasteners and washers using the 10mm
wrench.
c. Tighten the axle nuts with an 18mm wrench to finish mounting the wheel.
d. Reconnect the motor cable making sure the male and female ends are aligned.
e. Finally, reattach the brake caliper using the 5mm Allen key and bolts.
STEP 4: SECURE THE FENDER
a. Attach the fender stay to the tabs on the bike frame with 4mm bolts. The
fender stay is malleable and may need to be adjusted to fit perfectly to the
frame.
