HSSA-HE Three Storey Wireless Alarm System
HISPEC BATTERY RF-PRO ALARMS Follow these steps exactly, and BEFORE YOU
INSTALL ANY ALARMS to have them paired in seconds! Read through the steps
first, BEFORE you start, to familiarise yourself with each step.
NOTE – PLEASE ONLY FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS OF YOU ARE USING THE ALARMS
WITHOUT THE OPTIONAL CONTROL UNIT.
IF YOU ARE USING THE CONTROL UNIT IN THE SYSTEM, FOLLOW THE QUICK START GUIDE
THAT CAME WITH THAT INSTEAD.
DO THIS BEFORE YOU INSTALL ANY OF THE DEVICES!

Turn all the alarms on by rotating the mounting plate clockwise (the red LED on the front will light briefly).
Note: The Mounting plate may be a bit stiff to turn as this is to make sure they firmly attach to the ceiling on installation. -
On the smoke or heat alarm (doesn’t matter which) hold down the black pairing button on the back (for approx. 5 seconds) until the red LED lights up and stays on. Put this directly in front of you, where you can see the LED. (The red light will stay on for 30 seconds to indicate the unit is in pairing mode)

Whilst the red light is still on the unit you held for 5 seconds, on additional alarms tap the pairing button twice.
The red LED will flash 5 times. The alarm is now paired. -
Making sure the red LED is still lit on the first alarm, repeat Step 3 for each of the alarms.
If the red LED on the first alarm goes out, repeat Step 2 for that alarm. Then continue with Step 3 for the remaining alarms. -
All alarms are now paired, you can test this by holding the white test button on the front for 20 seconds. Within this 20 seconds all connected units will sound.

You can now turn alarms off to remove the mounting plate and fix to surface. Alarms will turn back on once you attach to mounting plate and turn clockwise.

When installed, turn on repeat Step 5 to test.
