ArmoTwist Actimac Ipad Kiosk
Product Information
The ArmoTwistTM is a high-quality product designed to provide pivot and rotating movement for your Armodilo Kiosk head. It is manufactured to the highest quality specifications and has been checked by our quality assurance team to meet our highest standards. The ArmoTwistTM is designed to be maintenance-free and has a durable anodized finish. It is intended for indoor use in dry conditions.
Usage Instructions
- When using cabling with the ArmoTwistTM, always check to ensure they do not become twisted due to one-directional rotation.
- Outdoor usage of the ArmoTwistTM is not recommended.
Product Assembly Instructions
- Align the two bolts at the end of the ArmoTwistTM to the end connector of the S Tube on your Armodilo unit.
- Insert a Hex Driver through the first hole on the ArmoTwistTM, entering the second hole into the main housing. Turn the screw clockwise until it fastens to the End Connector on the S Tube. Repeat for the other side. Do not overtighten the bolts or screws.
- Align the Kiosk Housing to the ArmoTwistTM and insert the two supplied ArmoTwist Housing Connector Screws (Silver). Tighten them with the supplied Hex Driver.
- Insert the Tablet Fit Kit Inserts into the Kiosk Housing.
- Insert your tablet device into the housing unit.
- Insert the Housing Frame and Housing Faceplate.
- Secure the Housing Faceplate to the Kiosk Housing with two screws.
Adjustment Instructions
The ArmoTwistTM is designed to be tension adjustable. To adjust the tension, move the adjustment knob to the right to tighten or to the left to loosen the tension.

Usage
Your ArmoTwist was designed to provide pivot and rotating movement for your Armodilo Kiosk head. When using cabling always check to ensure they do not become twisted due to one-directional rotation. ArmoTwist was designed to be used indoors in dry conditions, outdoor usage is not recommended. -
Assembly
When assembling and disassembling your ArmoTwist follow the instructions and avoid using force at any time. Improper threading or over tightening of any of the screws could result in premature thread or part wear which is not covered under the warranty. -
Cleaning
ArmoTwist is anodized to give it a durable finish. When cleaning use a damp lint free cloth. Do not use any cleaning agents since they could harm the finish.
Important: ArmoTwist provides 360˚+ rotational freedom. This means that
if your tablet device is connected to power or peripheral cables, these cables
can become twisted over time. Always ensure cabling is checked frequently to
prevent damage from excessive one-directional rotation resulting in cable
twisting.

Assembly Instructions
Assembly Instructions › ArmoTwist™
The ArmoTwist gets mounted to the end of the “S” Tube on both the Freestanding and Desktop Armodilo(ex) or Armodilo(rt) units.
- Align the two bolts at the end of the ArmoTwist to the end connector of the “S” Tube
- Insert a Hex Driver through the first hole on the ArmoTwist entering the second hole into the main housing, turn the screw clockwise until it fastens to the End Connector on the “S” Tube. Repeat for the other side.
- Important: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN any of the bolts or screws. Damage can result from excessive force on the bolts or set screws that hold the components together.
- Align the Kiosk Housing to the ArmoTwist as shown. Insert the two supplied ArmoTwist Housing Connector Screws (Silver) and tighten with the supplied Hex Driver
- Insert the Tablet “Fit Kit” Inserts into the Kiosk Housing
- Insert your tablet device into the housing unit as shown.
- Insert the Housing Frame and Housing Faceplate
- Secure the Housing Faceplate to the Kiosk Housing with two Torx® Security Screws using the Torx® Wrench DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THESE SCREWS
Adjustment
Adjustment › ArmoTwist
The ArmoTwist is designed to be tension adjustable to give it the right feel for your particular application or the various kiosk heads and/or devices being used.
- Insert the Hex Wrench into the Adjustment Keyway on the side of the ArmoTwist
- Ensure the Hex Wrench is inserted all the way into the Adjustment Keyway and into the Hole in the Keyway
- Once the Hex Wrench is inserted, you’ll be able to adjust the tension of the ArmoTwist by moving the Hex Wrench left or right. Adjust until the desired tension is attained, then remove the Hex Wrench
- Occasional adjustments may be necessary during the lifetime of your ArmoTwist
Warranty Information
Armodilo™ Display Solutions warrants your ArmoTwist™ to be free from physical defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of the original purchase. If you discover a defect covered by this warranty we will repair or replace the part at our discretion using new or refurbished components. Product failures not covered by this warranty: This warranty covers defects in manufacturing that arise from the correct use of the device. It is limited to defects in materials or workmanship and does not cover damage caused by abuse, misuse, unauthorized modification, lightning or power surge, extreme hea t or cold, and corrosive environments. The warranty also DOES NOT COVER the normal wear and tear on screws, bolts, tools and all paint/finishes. Limits of Liability: If these products fail or do not perform as warranted your sole recourse shall be to repair the product as described above. We will not be liable to you or anyone else for damages that result from the failure of this product. These damages include but are not limited to the following; lost profi ts, lost savings, lost data, damage to other equipment and incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use this product. Express or implied warranties aredisclaimed. IN NO EVENT WILL ARMODILO DISPLAY SOLUTIONS BE LIABLE FOR MORE THAN THE AMOUNT OF YOUR PURCHASE PRICE, NOT TO EXCEED THE CURRENT LIST PRICE OF THE PRODUCT. Armodilo Display Solutions specifically disclaims all other warranties, expressed or implied, and the user shall deem the installation or use of this product an acceptance of these terms.
Obtaining Service Under Warranty
How to obtain service under this warranty: RMA numbers are required for all
product returns by contacting sales@armodilo.com. Once an Armodilo Display
Solutions technical support member verifies your have a hardware problem that
requires you to return your product you will be issued an RMA number. You must
acquire an RMA number and deliver the defective part to Armodilo Display
Solutions in order to obtain service under this warranty. A sales receipt is
required to verify the original retail purchase. All returned parts must have
the RMA number visible on the outside of the packaging. You must either use
the original packaging or pack the unit securely to avoid damage during
shipping. Return Authorizations are valid for 30 days after the RMA number is
issued.
