TESLA Air 6 Max Air Purifier
SAFETY INFORMATION
WARNING: Skin or eye damage may result from directly viewing the light
produced by the lamp in this apparatus. Always disconnect power before
relamping or servicing. If the bulb is damaged, it needs to be replaced.
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or other injury, follow all
instructions and safety guidelines
General Safety
- Only use your air purifier as described in this manual.
- Do not use without removing the plastic wrap from the filter. The purifier will not filter air, and may overheat, causing a fire hazard.
- Do not use your air purifier outdoors.
- Keep your air purifier away from water, and wet or damp areas. Never place in water or liquid.
- Do not use in excessively humid areas.
- Keep your air purifier away from heat sources.
- Do not use where combustible gases, vapors, metallic dust, aerosol (spray) products, or fumes from industrial oil are present.
- Keep 5 ft / 1.5 m away from where oxygen is being administered.
- Supervise children when they are near the air purifier.
- Do not place anything into any opening on the air purifier.
- Do not sit on or place heavy objects on the air purifier.
- Keep the inside of the air purifier dry. To prevent moisture buildup, avoid placing in rooms with major temperature changes or underneath air conditioners.
- Always unplug your air purifier before servicing (such as changing the filter).
- Do not use your air purifier if it is damaged or not working correctly, or if the cord or plug is damaged. Do not try to repair it yourself.
- WARNING: Do not use this air purifier with solid-state speed controls (such as a dimmer switch).
- Not for commercial use. Household use only.
Power and Cord
- Keep air purifier near the outlet it is plugged into.
- Never place the cord near any heat source.
- Do not cover the cord with a rug, carpet, or other covering. Do not place the cord under furniture or appliances.
- Keep the cord out of areas where people walk often. Place the cord where it will not be tripped over.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Important Notice:
Don’t start the air purifier until you remove the plastic packaging from the
filter.
Step-1: Put the appliance upside down on a soft cloth to void scratching,
Grasp the handle of the base cover with your hand, pull it out firmly, and
remove it.
Step-2: Take out the new filter and remove the plastic packaging.
Step-3: Place the unpacked filter correctly back into the air purifier.
Step-4: Align the base cover to the air purifier, be sure it’s closed tightly.
CONTROL PANEL: TOUCH PAD
Plug and turn on the machine
All lights will be ON for 1 second and you hear a beep, all lights then stay
OFF.
On / Off button
press button, Speed at level 1 (Low).
Fan speed adjustment
The fan speed light indicates at which fan speed the appliance is operating.
Press Speed button fan speed level, 1~3 refers to Low, Medium, High level.
Auto mode
Auto mode, the fan speed will be automatically adjusted according to AQL level
as below:

Sleep Mode
When you use the appliance in Sleep Mode, it works very quietly. All the
buttons (If filter life expiration reminder) will be at half brightness. Press
any other buttons (except and buttons) to exit the sleep mode.
UV Lamp
The UV technology kills germs, viruses, and bacterial by penetrating its DNA,
resulting in the microorganism’s death or the inability to reproduce. Press
button to turn the UV technology on. The UV indicator will glow. Press button
again to turn the UV technology off.
Timer settings

You can set a timer for 2, 4, 8 hours. repeatedly to select a time. The timer will start automatically.
NOTE: The timer indicators will light up when active. -
Once the timer has finished, the air purifier will power off.

To cancel a timer, press until all timer indicators are off.
NOTE: You can change the fan speed at any time while the timer is on. If the appliance operates in a humid environment, the lifetime of the HEPA filter will be reduced.
Keylock mode
- Press button 3 seconds to activate Keylock mode. All buttons are locked at this mode; If there are small children around, we suggest using this mode.
- To cancel the keylock mode, just press and hold button for 3 seconds.
Filter replacement light
When indicator lights, it means that you should check the filter if it need
to be cleaned or replaced.
Memory Function
While the air purifier is plugged in, it will remember its previous fan speed
setting.
FILTER REPLACEMENT & CLEAN
Filter Replacement
When Should I Replace the Filter?
It is recommended to change the air filter every 6–8 months. However, you may
need to change your filter sooner or later depending on how often you use your
air purifier. It is important to watch out for the following signs of expired
filter:
- Increased operating noise
- Increased operating noise
- Decreased airflow
- Clogged filter
- Increased presence of odors
- NOTE: The environment in which the air purifier being used may also extend or shorten the lifetime of the the air filter. Using your air purifier in an environment of relatively high pollution may mean changing the air filter more often.
- If the air pollution in your environment is very high, there is a possibility that the filters may not be completely effective and may need to bereplaced before lights up.
- Remember to reset the air purifier after changing the air filter.
How to replace the Filter?
- Switch off the appliance and unplug it. (a)
- Put the appliance upside down on a soft cloth to void scratching. Grasp the handle of the base cover with your hand, pull it out firmly, and remove it. (b)
- Remove the old filter. (c)
- Remove the packaging material of the new filter. (d)
- Put the new filter back into the appliance. (e)
- Align the base cover to the air purifier, be sure it’s closed tightly. (f)
- Put the plug in the socket and switch on the appliance again. (g)
Forced filter replacement
When using the air purifier in an environment of heavy pollution, the lifespan of the air filter may be significantly reduced. You can change the filters even if perform a hard reset.
- Replace the air filters as mentioned in the Filter Replacement section.
- Plug in the air purifier and keep in working mode.
- Press and hold for 3 seconds, after hearing the buzzer “Ding”, the indicator will flash 3 times and then turn off. The reset is finished.
Keep Filter Clean
To keep your purifier working with more efficiency and lifetime, clean the filter (pre-filter side only) every 2 weeks with the instruction below:
- Clean out any dust, hair, or furs remain on the pre-filter by using the vacuum hose.
- Clean out any dust, hair, or furs remain on the bottom cover by using the vacuum hose.
- DO NOT wash the filter with any water or liquid.
REPLACING THE UV BULB
The UV bulb is designed to last for approximately 5000 hours of use. The UV-C panel will flash RED when you use UV indicator on the control exceed 5000 hrs.
NOTE: The air purifier will continue to operate without UV function when the UV bulb burns out.
CAUTION: Do not operate the air purifier without the protective UV bulb cover.
- Unplug the air purifier and remove the filter. (a)
- Remove the cover to expose the UV bulb. (b)
- Gently push from the side and pull the UV bulb to remove. (c)
- Remove and replace the UV bulb. (d)
- Re-install the UV bulb cover, filter, and base cover. (e)
- Put the plug in the wall socket and switch on the appliance again. (f)
- Press and hold the button for 3 seconds, after hearing the buzzer “Ding”, the UV indicator will flash 3 times and then turn off. The reset is finished. (g)
NOTE: You can replace the UV bulb ahead of time and reset the lifetime, even if the UV-C indicator light does not flash.
WARNING: The UV bulb contains mercury (Hg).
